The property was very inviting and well appointed and stocked. The location and the patio and outdoor areas for sitting were excellent. The local person Katie we had two occasions to contact her was excellent. Plenty of off street parking was also very helpful. The kitchen was beautiful with plenty of silverware and glasses and dishes. The master bedroom was comfortable with a great bathroom.

The lake cottage was was very clean and well kept. The kitchen was small, but updated and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were all very comfortable. Our family spent most of our time in the beautiful backyard! We ate our breakfast at the outside table, while watching the many different types of birds and we enjoyed the firepit in the evening. The outdoor area was lovely relaxing and comfortable after spending the day touring St Augustine. Our family enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cottage!!!

The location was great! The house had everything we needed. The extras amenities ie: fireplace inside and out, towel warmer. The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Splendor on the Lake was beyond our expectations! The photos don't do it justice. The kitchen and attention to detail were amazing! It was immaculate and very walkable to the historic district. It rained much of the time we were there, but we were still able to sit on the porch and enjoy the lake views. Three of us stayed at there and agreed that this is the nicest VRBO we have ever rented. We would highly recommend this home to anyone. Parking was more than adequate for 3 cars.

beautiful house, very clean. the house had everything we needed to be comfortable and worry-free for the week. beautiful view of the lake from the patio/porch area. perfect location for nearby restaurants, attractions and most of all historic downtown st. augustine. we really enjoyed cocktails and great food at the ice plant and st. augustine fish camp. so much to see and do, we couldn’t think of a better place to stay than casa del lago. hope to stay again in the future. thank you for the wonderful stay.

Quiet Getaway

This house was just perfect for three couples! 15-minute walk to the downtown area, nice sidewalk right in front of the house, and cozy back area to sit out and relax at night. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay with pleasant communication with Katie the house manager.

This was the best VRBO property I have rented. Great location, unbelievably equipped, well appointed, everything looked brand new. The management was very attentive and responsive. It was uniquely and beautifully decorated. Everything was outstanding!

We had the best time! The neighborhood is amazing and so close to downtown. Loved being able to walk everywhere. The property manager was so accommodating and let us check in early last minute. There is a long term tenant that stays upstairs (still a separate unit). She was so nice and very quiet. Plenty of parking. The backyard area was amazing. Loved having our coffee while watching the sun rise over the little lake! Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful Place To Stay

This was a great place to stay. We have been to St Augustine so many times and have never stayed in this neighborhood. The location is so convenient to the historical district and it is also a very quiet and beautiful area. The home is absolutely beautiful and has all amenities we needed. Casa De Lago stay

This home was exactly as seen in the photographs. After a full day of sightseeing in town, it was so peaceful to relax on the porch in the evenings with a cool drink and watch nature at its best. The extras provided by this host were so appreciated. There were games, books, extra dish detergents, paper towels, ice, too many to list. I will definitely look for properties by this host for future stays.

Perfect Location

From the moment we stepped into the cottage we knew we had found the perfect place for our mini vacay. From the beautifully appointed kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms, to the welcoming and peaceful backyard overlooking the lake, what was not to love? Historic downtown close by and a walkway along the water was several of the perks. We enjoyed our last night relaxing by the fire in the firepit in MY favorite outdoor chair, the Adirondack. This home should be considered on your visit to St Augustine. We would love to return on a future visit!
