What stood out most about our stay was how comfortable and well-appointed the home was — everything was clean, welcoming, and exactly as described. The amenities were great, and the host was very responsive, which made the trip easy and relaxing. The only downside was that we couldn’t use the pool, which was disappointing since we were really looking forward to it. Aside from that, everything else about the stay was wonderful.

We loved the whole place! The decor was great and there was plenty of space for all of us. We loved the decks and having all stuff we needed to use at the beach. The elevator was a plus for getting luggage to the 3rd floor bedrooms. Couldn’t have been better! A shout out to Captain Mike at Sea Serpent Airboat Tours. We had a great time there too!

This place is amazing. My Grandkids did not want to leave. We will definitely be coming back. Quiet neighborhood, short walk to beach, putt putt golf, restaurants and of course ice cream shops. The pool was a plus, and the home was very clean. The property manager was just a text away. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home.

Family vacay

Our family of 10 (six adults, two tweens, a five year old and a three year old) had an amazing beach vacation at the Sunsetter. We enjoyed the comfy beds and plenty of space for all. The walk from the garage to the beach where we set up our beach tent is 4.5 minutes! The Sunsetter provided plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, and sand toys so we didn’t have to pack them. The pool is well maintained and very nice. There is an upcharge to use the heated feature. There is an additional microwave that can be set up and we used it for our large family. The kitchen is well stocked. Two refrigerators were awesome. The game changer was the elevator! My husband and I greatly appreciated that specific feature of the Sunsetter. I recommend the Sunsetter for a relaxing stay in St. Augustine.

Sunsetter Mother's Day stay 2025

Check in process got off to a bad start - was told I would receive the code to check in morning of our stay and had to call in the early afternoon as I had not received anything. Asked for an earlier check in - at this price point I would have thought that could have been accommodated. Was told we could check in at 3 at the earliest. Had a fun morning at the beach and pool time but then once our littlest went down for a nap the yard crew came by with a very loud blower for 30 minutes around the property on SATURDAY. There was also someone spraying an insecticide all around the pool area which made me cautious to want to let my little ones play outside.Lighting was not working in the elevator which we were informed about at check in and that made things a little challenging.The owner did allow 6 attraction tickets for the inconvenience. This was a major inconvenience as the elevator was the primary reason we booked this house because I am unable to navigate stairs very well. And the advertised 300 tickets per day is a boldface lie. You get one attraction ticket per day - one. When I asked how the 300 value was calculated - it was based on the total value of all the attractions which you could not even attempt to complete in one day. False advertising and very misleading When you are paying the price that you are for the property - that 300 per day would go a long way. But alas it does not even exist.

St Augustine Beach

This was our first visit to St. Augustine, and we knew we wanted to stay close to the beach. The house was perfect for our family and 2 miniature doxies. The house is close to the beach and has plenty of room. The elevator is a plus along with the pool. The hosts were very courteous and very responsive when we contacted them. We highly recommend the Sunsetter House!

Comfortable Stay

Our family of seven, 6 adults and one infant stayed for a week. The home was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space for our family. The location is a short walk to the beach. We especially enjoyed the pool and patio area for family time. Several restaurants are within walking distance. We recommend The Beachcomber for an affordable and delicious meal. Our only suggestion to the property owner would be to replace the cushions on the main deck furniture as their are very worn. Also the beach chairs are in poor condition. With that said, it certainly wouldn’t stop us from staying here again. We really did enjoy our family vacation at The Sunsetter.

Property was nice but lots of things needed updating. The doorknobs were rusty and door to downstairs bedroom was hard to use. Some furniture needs replacing in pool area, there are uneven pavers that are dangerous. Everything in garage, chairs and umbrellas were broke. I did mention this to property manager, he said he would bring us new ones immediately but it was our last day. Home was beautiful and accommodations great (middle room upstairs needs new bed.)Forget about opening windows and blinds. All this and I'd still rent again.. Property management was excellant.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the convenient location to beach, YMCA and restaurants. Despite the close proximity to other rentals and homes, it’s very quiet. Pool was impeccably maintained, house was clean and well furnished. The furnishings (bedspreads) are showing a little wear and I agree the beds are noisy. The pillows on the beds could use a refresh. The only detail a little below standard was the exterior of cabinets could use a good scrub in kitchen and baths. And in one bedroom the lamp cord sustained serious splash from a prior occupant and could use a good scrub. Would stay again in this neighborhood and in this house. Thank you for a great vacation.

Beautiful Pool-home with Short Walk to Beach

Beautiful pool-home located on street with direct access to the beach. House was very clean and well-stocked. All was in good working order as well. Garage had lots of extra beach toys, wagon, pool toys, etc. We had a great time walking to the beach and enjoying the pool. The location in St. Augustine was great - access to all of the local amenities. Highly Recommend!

This is a beautiful 3 story home very close to beach you can walk it in about 2 minutes..property management was very responsive to all correspondence. Everything you need is there, pool is not really useable this time of year but we were there when a cold front came through..overall pleasant trip and great location.

This home was fantastic in every way! Clean, bright and cheerful & a very beautiful property and perfect location! The kitchen was fully stocked & had everything we needed and more! I really like the fact that there were no bunkbeds and that every bed was very comfortable ! When not using the pool, we had everything we needed to go to the beach, including a wagon, multiple chairs, plenty of beach towels, etc . The hosts were very communicative with us before check in, during our stay, and any check out day - they always answered our texts immediately and were always friendly & very helpful! I highly recommend this wonderful slice of paradise to everyone ! I will definitely be renting this home again in the future!
