Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This flat is absolutely adorable! We stayed for Girls Trip, sharing the two bedrooms. Plenty of space for the four of us. The flat itself is nicely done! The details and architecture is typical St. Augustine but updated! We enjoyed the porch every night and went downstairs every morning to Southern Grounds coffee shop for breakfast (amazing food)! The traffic on the street gets started around 7:00am. We’re early birds and didn’t mind too much. The location is a 10! We walked to everything! Oh, we couldn’t figure out how to turn the ice on in the freezer and extra hangers would have been nice, but overall a fabulous place to stay! Check in and out a breeze. 🙌🏻

Great place - walk to downtown

Really cute place- well appointed. Above the new Southern Grounds coffee shop where we ate breakfast each morning- so good! The only thing late sleepers should be aware of it’s on a busy street so street noise could be a problem. It wasn’t for us and we would gladly stay there again for the convenience.

Loved location of our rental. To our surprise a super cute coffee shop - restaurant opened in the lower level just one month ago. The only detractors was it was on a busy somewhat noisy road. They did supply ear buds and sound machine. Perfect for 2 couples!

Perfect for Weekend Getaway

Stayed for a fun family weekend in St Augustine. Perfect location to walk to all activities. Home is cozy and perfectly decorated. The kitchen is large and has room for extra seating. The bathrooms are well appointed and the showers were huge. Parking was easy and there are several local restaurants close by. It was a little noisy at night given the central location, but would certainly stay again.

The upstairs loft area felt like home and was perfect for the three of us. Beds were comfortable and the place was spotless. Please note that this property is above a coffee shop which opens early and closes at 9:30. You can hear movement of tables and the morning crew getting started. So if your not a morning person, I wouldn't suggest you stay here. We slept very well here, please note that the evening and morning traffic is very loud, almost NY loud without the horns, lol. Bring a good white noise machine!

Loved the balcony overlooking the street. The ONLY bad things I can say are the noise level when trying to sleep kind of sucks and the king bed was not in the master bathroom with the nice bathroom. The queen was in there so we had to walk back and forth as we need a king and loved the master bath. lol. Other than that we loved this place and it is in walking distance to the ice Plant bar which I highly recommend.

This rental is conveniently located to all of the best spots in the historic district. You are within walking distance to everything. I must have missed it in the listing, but this unit is located on top of a coffee shop. I was shocked to walk in and see the coffee shop was full of customers, we never would have known upstairs that there was so much activity under us. The road noise is more intrusive. A sound machine, which was provided, is key for cutting some of that noise out. But noise is to be expected when you are located in the heart of the city. By the way, the coffee is great downstairs. The unit itself has such charm. It is tastefully decorated with historical touches. The wrap around balcony adds to the spaciousness of the unit. The couch is different than the one in the listing, it was not comfortable at all. Especially, after a long day walking a comfy couch would be nice. The queen bed in the unit is an old mattress that has a deep hole in the middle. It caused some back issues the first night sleeping on it. I switched to the king bed the next night, that was better. The cleanliness of the unit was just ok. Some of the dishes had food crusted on them. The maid must have used the same rag to wipe everything down because there was a lot of hair on the counters, on the face of the refrigerator and coffee tables. It's not a deal breaker but maybe something to address with the cleaning service. Overall, we would return here again based on location.

The space was beautiful and well maintained. A few other reviews mentioned it being loud in the morning. We assumed it would have to do with the coffee shop downstairs but they are super quiet. You are on a main drag in the center of all the good stuff so you do hear traffic but it not a consistent noise. Just traffic. It is super close to the distillery, winery and only a few minutes walk to the historic areas. We parked our car and never moved it for three days until checkout. We just walked everywhere and this home was in the center of everything and easy to stop back at for rests.

It was very clean and comfortable. Parking was a little tight for a large cargo van and a small suv but it was manageable. The hosts were very accommodating. Our only complaint would be its loud being on the inter section of a very busy road. This wouldn’t be an issue if we didn’t have a baby who needed to nap durning the day. There was white noise machines in both bedrooms so that helped cancel the night time noise but the day time it was to busy to keep it quiet enough for naps. The deck was also a dirty from being close to the road. Again wouldn’t be much of an issue if you didn’t have a baby crawling around on it!

It's located in very convenient area snd we felt safe and were able to walk to most everything. however, there is heavy traffic and lots of noise in the house. Better windows could defer the noise and help with rattling in windy condition. A regular television would also be a nice addition. We had a large Truck and parking was very tight. Agents were professional and responsive.

What a gem! The place was immaculate, beautiful, roomy and comfy with all amenities. Loved the location and nice little extras. Best deal in St Augustine. As others reported, road noise is definitely present but bedrooms equipped with sound machines and it does quiet down eventually. Definitely would stay here again.

My favorite spot was the upper front porch ! It is a nice walk to most attractions. My ONLY caveat is the road noise. I am a light sleeper and this home is close to the police and fire department ..... who never miss an opportunity to use their "Sirens" ! GREAT HOME.
