Salty Beach Cottage is in an excellent location for beach, short walk over the dune. Multi level Pool was perfect for small children and adults. Ice cream shop and great souvenir shop one block walk away. Air conditioner was excellent.we had 9 adults and 4 small children, quarters were just enough with every in a bed/pack n play. Plenty of pool toys and beach chairs under the house. Kitchen is very well equipped. Plenty of beach towels. We went on a great Air boat ride one morning and rented a pontoon boat and found plenty of beach places to swim. Downtown is great. Close to many coffee shops and “Beachcomber”. Loved the location and cottage feel of the house. Lauren was great to work with and very responsive.

Not to Salty, Just Right!

At 1st it took getting use to, then once everyone settle in, we loved it..5 bdrms, pool and 50 steps to the beach..And to top all of this off they have a Blackstone grill, never seen that at a vacation rental..Hostess was also wonderful!!

Fantastic!

Location was amazing! Mayday ice cream walking distance! Salt life restaurant walking distance! Pier walking distance! Super wide beach. Kids LOVED the pool. The outdoor decks were fantastic for drinking coffee and listening to the waves in the morning. The house was well stocked for our needs and beds were comfortable! Highly recommend and would visit again.

Girls Trip

Our group of 11 women stayed at this property for a long weekend. The house is quaint and just a few steps from the beautiful beach. For the most part, the property was as advertised but our experience was compromised quite a bit by an oven that badly needed cleaning (smoke and fumes filled the room every time we turned it on, making it impossible to use). We had planned several meals and a birthday cake that had to be abandoned due to the oven. One of the stovetop burners also didn’t work. We had ants in two bathrooms, sand in one of the twin beds, and mattresses (especially in the twin beds) that may have been fine for kids but were really uncomfortable for adults (we are all over the age of 40). We stay in a lot of rental houses and cabins and my biggest advice to owners is to invest in good mattresses and make sure ovens and stovetops really work. We encounter these two issues with a LOT of properties. I think these things can easily be addressed by the property owners, so I’m still giving four stars. Everything else was fine and the property was great for a weekend getaway to the beach.

Hoover 24’ Summer Vacation

The house as advertised is beautifully clean and spacious enough for a family vacation. It is in an extremely great location
just steps from the beach and various restaurants. It is located on a very quite street which allows for peaceful evenings. The property owner was great and was easy to connect with both prior and during our stay. This is a house, with a great host, and I cannot recommend it enough. We are hoping to stay here in the future.

Nice property but some issues

The location was great
just steps from the beach but we had some issues. The pool is beautiful but, because sand was used in the grooves of the patio tiles, it appears constantly dirty with lots of sand in the pool. Also, the second bedroom on the first floor appears to be a converted porch. It had no venting or air conditioning and, even with fans, was very hot. The kitchen sink faucet leaked and, despite our best attempts to keep an eye on the problem, after returning from dinner one night, the sink was overflowing. The house was well stocked and comfortable and Lauren was easily available to answer our concerns. We had a great time but, because of the aforementioned issues, I can only give the house 3 1/2 stars.

We thoroughly enjoyed this home! Greatest compliment is that it feels larger than it actually is and we all felt like we had privacy. The other great thing about this home is its proximity to beach. The path to beach is quaint and easy. The top deck has a wonderful view of the ocean and the pool is just right. The owner was a great communicator and even had a QR code displayed in home to quickly access any needed information. Our family made wonderful memories in this lovely home!

Loved our stay!

We were overall very happy about our stay. House was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with all we needed. The only hold back was finding out that there was construction of a new pool going on a couple of days before we arrived. Luckily the beach was right there and the kids were able to play out on the beach! We had a great time and rang in the new year happily!

I would definitely stay here again. The location was clean and met expectations. The host was very responsive and proximity to the beach was very convenient. They are in the process of adding a pool which will make it even better.

Great location and house!

House was well prepared and accommodated 10 people easily. Nice new flattop grill which allowed us to cook bacon and eggs outside, as well as burgers and frankfurters. Beach chairs available and plenty of towels. Great location.

Wonderful place

Great house. Great location. And great communication with the host. A few minor issues, but that is always the case when staying in a rental. So nothing to complain too much about. We would absolutely come back and stay here again.

The house was very clean, open and bright. Kitchen was nice and it was open to the family room and dining room. Location was perfect. Steps from the beach and close to the restaurants and coffee shops on the beach. I gave the place 4 Stars. A couple of minor adjustments; water pressure in main bath and clothes storage in a couple of bedrooms would have made it a 5 Star location. Will stay again.

Perfect Location

We had a family of 6 that stayed in the house. It was located steps from beach access and walking distance to multiple restaurants, coffee shops and more. We loved the two patios and hung out there a lot. The kitchen was large and had plenty of dishes. The only inconvenience was that they just leave a starter pack of supplies for you. We had to buy paper towels, toilet paper, spray cleaner and more laundry detergent. There is also no shampoo, conditioner, etc so just come prepared because we didn't. Luckily there is a grocery store very close so it wasn't a big deal. We loved our week there and we would definitely stay there again!
