We had a great Christmas family vacation. The house provided space for everyone and each had own sleeping area. We enjoyed the ping pong table and fire pit. Also the sand area was a hit with our 3 and 6 year old. The beach was beautiful. The house is in a great area. We drove into St Augustine every evening for an event. So much to do, see, and taste.

We had a group of 14 adults and teens/children for our stay at Sweet Sandcastle. The property is clean, well maintained, and fully equipped. The location is perfect, just a short 5 min walk to the beach, close to grocery and restaurants, and a short drive into downtown St. Augustine. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again in the future.

Wonderful home! Lots of great amenities- towels, beach chairs, games, books, dishes, and utensils, etc. Home is cozy, clean, and spacious. Many details of a comfortable stay were well thought through. Great neighborhood and easy walk to the beach. Hosts were very attentive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely come again!

The property is beautiful and location was perfect. It is near the Beach and Intracoastal. The Property had many areas to sit and relax. It was fully equipped and beautifully decorated. It was spacious and just lovely. We were 5 couples and had a wonderful time.

Great place for families

This home was one of three we rented for family the week of our daughter’s wedding. We put our adults with young children in this home and it was a hit. Lots to do, easy walk to the other homes along the beach, and very responsive hosts. It was a great place and all the guests enjoyed their stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Feels like home.

Quite neighborhood, EZ walk to the beach, close to shopping, great back yard with lots of room for games and sitting in the shade of some beautiful trees with lots of privacy and comfortable beds to name a few of the things that caused us to book this house for next year.

Amazing!

This property was wonderful! It had a lot of room and so many things to do at the house plus only a short walk to the beach! Saint Augustine was close. Perfect for a large family. The beds and furniture were so comfortable. Definitely recommend this property!

Amazing Beach Experience

The property is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood with a short walk to a semi private beach which was beautiful. The property was perfect for our large family, it was clean and well stocked with home goods and beach goods. The host was beyond wonderful. The outdoor area had great space to just relax and hang out with family!

Great family getaway

Our family of 10 stayed almost a week here and never ran out of things to do. In fact, we really didn't get to take advantage of all that the property offered due to so many opportunities in St Augustine and the surrounding area. The house has EVERYTHING you need for a beach stay and accommodated us quite comfortably. A quiet neighborhood, proximity to the beach, responsive property management--we couldn't ask for a better place.

This was a great stay. Friendly and helpful service. All information for check in/out as well as information about the property was very well communicated. The house fit our family very well. Great yard and a short walk to the beach. Everyone was very pleased. We would stay here again if we visit St Augustine.

Wonderful Experience

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Beautiful home, enough room for all of us (family reunion with 4 families, 3 generations). The walk to the beach was easy enough, and they had tons of chairs and beach gear for us to borrow. The owners were quick to respond when we had questions and left detailed instructions on everything. Highly recommend!

Wonderful family vaca

We had a wonderful time on our extended family vacation. The kids loved all the things the house had to offer especially the sand pit in the back yard! The kitchen was well stocked and we were able cook big family meals with ease. The walk to the beach was short and made it so we can spend time at the beach periodically and stillbeat meals at the house! Also the house was close enough to the city that just a short car trip allowed us to easily explore the beutiful city and enjoy all there was to do!

Family Reunion

We loved our stay in this beautiful home! There was something for everyone in our large group to enjoy. We loved the spacious living area, and the outdoor recreation area was amazing! The kids had a blast in the sand area during the day and enjoyed the playroom at night. We had everything we needed. The beach was just a short walk giving us great opportunity to watch the sunrise . Large Space Great for Groups/Families

There were 16 of us gathering for the first time in a while to celebrate Thanksgiving. Everyone had a bed, and plenty of space. The yard is wonderful with a fire pit, lots of seating and backyard games. We all had a great time playing cornhole and enjoying the lovely yard. The beach was about a 5 min walk. For anyone with mobility issues, the beach access is a steep, sandy hill. We had no issues with it. We had a few bumps as these things happen and we never had any trouble with communication even though the owners were away. Thank you!

Great place for a group of 12

We are 3 families from the Midwest that take a trip every summer. New location, each year. This property comfortably fit the 12 of us. The pictures on the listing don't do it justice. The layout was great, 3 levels gave everyone their own "private" space when needed. Beds were comfy, house was spacious. We made great use of the porch and balcony. It was pretty hot while we were there so we didn't use the backyard. There is a cabinet loaded with games and that living room/dining/kitchen area was a perfect hangout for all of us. The beach was an easy walk and the house had beach towels, chairs and toys available for us. Overall, this was a great fit for our needs. Should we come back to the area we will definitely look into staying here again.

Great location

The house is very close to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. It is also close to restaurants and groceries. St. Augustine is about a 15 minute drive as well.The house is a little dated but functional. The upstairs bedroom has a an en-suite bath but there are no doors to the bath. The two bedrooms on the second floor are separated by a full bath. The three bedrooms downstairs shares one bath. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, pots, pans, some old, some newer. The grill worked well. There were plenty of beach chairs, toys, and towels.The outdoor bar table with stools were a nice touch but they had some mold and a little dirty. The patio furniture looked a little worn and also had some mold. The fire pit was nice though so we sat around that at night. Good string lights in the backyard.Overall, the house met our needs for a quick getaway for two families with a total of 8 people.

Can't Go Wrong with This House

This was our second time staying here. The floor plan made it easy for everyone to have their privacy when the wanted and plenty of room in the main living area for all to gather. The kitchen is fully equipped and large enough for several to do food prep and cook. The house is clean, well maintained, beds are comfortable, AC is great. All our text and call were answered promptly. The beach is a short walk, clean, not crowed and DON'T miss the turtle patrol. The owners of the house are friendly, available and gracious.

Great property for a large family!

We had a lovely stay and this property was perfect for our large family. The kitchen was well equipped, the table was large enough for all of us to fit, we enjoyed the back yard area and overall, we had a fantastic visit. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful weekend.
