It was pretty central to pretty much everything but the water in the shower smelled like sewer, room smelled musty, breakfast wasn’t all that good, and the bed was very hard. Good part was the Mexican restaurant in the parking lot.

There are better options in the area. This place is rundown, noisy and not run well. The room was dirty and the furniture was worn, chipped / damaged and mismatched. The room’s bathroom appeared very unclean and the water pressure for the shower was horrible. No tub and the sink was outside the bathroom. The bedding and pillows given were extremely scratchy and uncomfortable. The beds themselves felt like they were broken, squeaked and everyone’s backs were sore after 2 nights at this place. We ended up leaving early as we couldn’t take it anymore. We were given one roll of bathroom tissue and 3 towels for 3 people for 3 day stay. The room service was only offered if you explicitly asked for it and gave 24 hours notice according to their sign posted at the front desk. When I asked about the pool hours I was told they didn’t know at first because no one ever used it - after seeing the condition and location of said pool, this is not surprising. We did not use the pool either. We never ate breakfast here, so I cannot speak to the variety or quality. We chose to eat elsewhere. Overall, our impressions were clearly not favorable. This is a very tired and depressing hotel - will never stay here again and actively recommend you look elsewhere.

What a little gem this hotel is!! We stayed for 2 nights, right when the Nights of Lights started (Nov 15). This event was a very enjoyable, unexpected treat! The hotel is close enough to the old city to be able to walk. It is a little peek into "Old Florida", with a heavy Spanish flair. Our room was clean and neat. The free breakfast was very good, with lots of options. There is also a pool, but we weren't there to swim, so I can't comment on it. But I WILL comment on the front desk personnel because they just made the stay! So helpful, friendly, professional and just plain nice. Southern Hospitality at its best!! You can purchase tickets for the sightseeing trolley right at the front desk, and the trolley will even pick you up at the hotel (although you could walk to the depot, if you enjoy walking). All in all, a very enjoyable couple of days in St. Augustine, a beautiful city with tons of history, all lovingly preserved for the past 200+ years!!

Will never book here again. Location was less than desirable, right off main highway heavy traffic. I tried to cancel 10 minutes after booking when I arrived and saw location. I explained why we couldn’t stay there and they refused to refund my money.

I had a suite and it was huge. The location is too far to walk anywhere but not too far away from historic district. Main issue was a lack of a comforter on the bed only a cover like a sheet not cozy.
