The property was absolutely perfect! The pool was the highlight of our trip. It was so nice that we stayed at the pool to enjoy it and only went to the beach once. When you have access to a pool like that why even leave? From the second you walk in, the place is cozy and has a cute, coastal vibe. The patio deck over looking the water was great, the views were stunning. We sat there and night and saw some shooting starts. I hope we are able to return in the future because there isn’t a better rental property out there!

This quaint retreat was just what I was looking for to celebrate our 31st anniversary. It was clean, was a great location, and contained all the features of home. The outdoor private pool was crystal clear and refreshing with an amazing view (please note that the pool IS shared with other rental units). The overview deck was amazing aswell. The host communicated well and responded quickly. Best of all the bed was super clean and comfortable. I wanted to give the property 5 stars however we didn’t like that it had a damp feel and smell downstairs due to the a/c wall unit. It was kinda overwhelming but not something we felt the host could immediately remedy. Our recommendation to the host, install a dehumidifier, service the a/c unit with Ozium or HVAC deodorizer and maybe run an Ozone generator. We would definitely book again if the dampness/smell issue was resolved.

The pool and rooftop deck were really nice. A bit of a walk around to the back of the property, and by the main house rental. We were fortunate that we were alone until our second to last day. The kitchen could’ve been better in terms of pots and pans that were decent to use for cooking. Most people probably don’t plan on doing much cooking on vacation, but we have special diets and do a lot of our own cooking. Kitchen is tiny. But nice place overall. Proximity is awesome if you’re a walker, like we are. We walked everywhere and never had to use the car except to go to the beach. It really is a one and a half bedroom place. It’s more of a studio, with a bedroom upstairs.

Best choice we ever made! The Retreat is perfect for a couple (and occasional visitor). The grounds are as incredible as they look. Cabe and Brittany were especially responsive to our cold-snap needs and always responded quickly and goodnaturedly. Perfect stay on a delightful island in a sweet neighborhood.

This was the perfect location for us. It was close to the downtown area but also close to some great local spots. Having the pool access was a highlight to help us unwind in between exploring. When we ran into the host they were friendly and gave some great food recommendations. We loved staying here and will definitely be back!

I was disappointed with the property description I did not realize thay there was a main house between the rental and the pool.The walk way to the pool was difficult, the path was uneven and tricky to walk on.The entrance to our front door was also difficult with uneven pavers and palms blocking the door.Also there is no stove only a 2 bunner cook top and microwave.The place otherwise was cute and clean.

Perfect Retreat

Wow! We were so fortunate to find this place! There were so many features to love about our stay. This condo (section of a larger house) is right across the bridge from the city of St. Augustine. We were close to the city, but not right in the hustle and bustle of the city. We were close to great restaurants, the lighthouse, putt putt, and Anastasia Island’s State Park. I almost hate to tell you about all of the property positives. We want to keep it to ourselves. Just a few-minute drive to several beaches in the area. The property itself serves as an oasis, providing a rooftop deck offering a beautiful view of the bay and a pool shared with guests in the other part of the house (made into two condos). The heated pool was perfect for early spring swims! It was very well-maintained and offered a beautiful view.The condo provides what is needed for cooking on the two-burner gas stove. No oven. But, that’s okay because you will want to try out all of the great restaurants in the area! The bottom level of the condo has a small kitchen, a small living area with a couch and TV, and a queen bed. There is one bathroom downstairs in the condo. There is another bathroom accessible. But, it is a little walk to the pool area. Upstairs, you will find a queen bed. No doors between these areas. So, if you’re looking for privacy between these areas, it will be hard to find. We were very appreciative to have a nice washer and dryer to use. This condo was perfect for a couple!

4 day getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute two floor unit. Small space downstairs, but very nicely appointed and functional. Upstairs open and airy. The saltwater pool was wonderful and the view from the pool or the back deck was very nice. Cabe was an excellent host and great communicator. We stayed for a 4 day weekend and it was great.

Amazing property!

The property is absolutely perfect! Great location that is close to all the best Saint Augustine has to offer. Check in instructions were sent well before our stay and getting into the property was easy. Interior was well stocked and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area!
