The hotel was very clean and the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The cleaning ladies were all very nice. The lady that took care of breakfast does a very good job. The breakfast was better than most other hotels with a free breakfast. The hot tub was hot and clean. The pool was clean but to cold for me!!! (It is a outside pool)

The room was, as on my previous visits, clean and tidy, the staff was pleasant and attentive (especially the female receptionist who checked me in). We usually do not use amenities.

Price was great, free parking, breakfast was good, the staff was wonderful and the beds and pillows were comfortable.The room had some stains on the walls and door but definitely normal wear and tear as they were a little outdated but no foul odors or issues with the room. The hotels exterior ,pool area, dog park and playground were very well kept and clean.

We stayed two nights at Smart Stay Inn St. Augustine and overall had a great experience. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The hotel is pet friendly and the buffet breakfast was a nice bonus. The fitted sheet had a few stains at first, but the staff quickly replaced it with a clean one. One small challenge was breakfast if you’re alone with your pet, since pets aren’t allowed in the dining area. Overall, a pleasant stay and we would return.
