The service provided by the staff was excellent and they were very friendly and accommodating. However, the room was very small and the front of the hotel was not very inviting in my opinion as there was rubbish like vacuum cleaner tools thrown across the parking area and overgrown vegetation. The place needs some attention to attract a wide range of customers.

They are unable to serve a meal which is all hot. The breakfast is stated to be freshly cooked. This is obviously not the case as half the breakfast is luke warm or cold. Other patrons agreed with this. I had two evening meals, one was hot but the vegetables on the other were cold. My complaint to the waitress was ignored. Anyone who stays here should be prepared for intrusive music being played during breakfast.

We enjoyed the amazing grounds and the food in the restaurant was lovely. The room was spacious and clean but the only thing that let it down was the bed. The memory foam matress had a big dip in it and was very uncomfortable. My husband didnt get a good night sleep as he couldnt get comfortable. The staff were informed the next morning and aaid they would deal with it.

Our stay at The Waterwheel was relaxing, in a beautiful garden setting. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the area. The food was oustanding for breafast and evening meal. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
