During our stay, we took advantage of the house being located close to Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake and spent time visiting the family friendly activities nearby. Unfortunately, the beach nearby was closed for the duration of our stay and that was a primary reason for booking this property, which was disappointing. We also couldn't use the deck or backyard space as there were many wasps and maybe a wasp nest under the deck.A couple kitchen appliances were broken and there were many fruit flies in the kitchen area.We noticed the house smelled like smoke when we first checked in. It could also use a thorough deep cleaning. The house is very spacious and would be good for a larger group. Our kids enjoyed the many toys and games available.

Wonderful house. Layout works perfectly for our group. Location is great, close to the lake and great restaurant just down the street. House is clean. Bathrooms in particular are nice. Good kitchen setup. Host answered our call when we had a little issue with the lock one evening. Will definitely stay there again.

We highly recommend this property. It accommodated 5 adults and 3 children well. The kitchen is well appointed and the outside deck is well equipped and great for eating outside. There are toys for the beach, which is a 2-minute walk. As other reviews have mentioned, the beds are quite firm which was not an issue for us. There is one thermostat in the house so adjusting the proper temperature for upstairs and downstairs can be a bit of a challenge. Again, this was not an issue for us. The location is perfect for Niagara area activities. Excellent for family get-aways.

Great house in a nice location to see the sites

We used this home as a base for day trips to Niagara Falls, Toronto, and Niagara on the Lake. It is in a nice location for all! We are a family of 6 and had plenty of space to spread out. The home was very clean. We walked to the beach a couple of times to look for shells. My husband ran each morning on nearby trails and sidewalks. We didn’t get a chance to go to Valley Restaurant, but it looked nice and was within walking distance. For everything else, you need to drive.

Lovely Place for a Family Vacation

Spacious, quiet and clean with way more amenities than listed (beds are firm so keep in mind if that's not to your liking). Upstairs bathroom has a deep bathtub and downstairs has a fabulous shower. Having a washer on each level was super convenient as there was no need to haul laundry up and down the stairs. Plenty of on-site parking, no problems with wi-fi, beach is less than two minute walk, and a restaurant literally across the street. Easy access to larger grocery stores (about 5-10min by car), and about 35min away from Niagara Falls. It's a really great location to do all the local tourist activities and then come back to at the end of the day to relax or walk on the beach.

Was our first VRBO and in a different country so hard to compare to anything yet Overall very satisfied and very nice home. Lots of toys for the kids..They LOVED the hockey game. The yard pictures are kind of deceiving(makes it look bigger than I thought it was).

Close to beach and Niagara Falls

This home suited our family of 5 perfectly! We appreciated the spacious kitchen and bedrooms, having two washers and dryers, a dedicated office space, and lovely deck. We enjoyed going to Sunset Beach a short walk away, and being a short drive to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. We also did a day trip to Toronto. It was a relaxing home to return to after busy days.

Large Spaces

Overall there is a lot of house to be able to spread out if you bring the family. Great deck and close to the beach. If you have a large family or come with extended family or friends you will be comfortable here.

Annual girls wine trip to Niagara... was made better by this stay. Perfectly clean, well-appointed and in a great location. The bathrooms alone were worth the stay.

Great trip at the Sunset Beach house

Our family had a great trip at this house. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach which was clean and fun for our whole family. The house is as pictured and is well set up for a family vacation. Plenty of space and amenities for our trip. The kids toys/furniture was great, our 2 year old daughter loved it. Parking was plentiful and the location in St Catherine’s was great. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home

This was the perfect home to land and begin our vacation. The location is great as it’s a short walk to the beach and not far from anything in town. The home was clean and even had a wonderful set up for the kids. We had 3 kids from 4-6 years old that were absolutely entertained by the toys while the adults were able to lounge and enjoy one another’s company on the back deck. Hands down I would recommend this home and would come back if we’re back in the area in the future. We were 5 adults and 3 kids and had PLENTY of space in the home. Thank you for such a wonderful space.

Perfect house for girls trip

House was perfect for our annual girls trip. So many amenities and the downstairs shower is amazing!! The location is perfect for enjoying the lake and surrounding area. Our communication with the owner was excellent. She provided restaurant suggestions and responded immediately when the battery died in the lock. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to the area.

Perfect location for exploring St Catherines and Niagara

We were 4 adults and 4 children (2-9) enjoying a long weekend. The house worked very well for us, was clean and had everything we needed. Back deck was lovely for enjoying dinners together. We loved the location - walking distance to the beach, and a 25 min drive to explore all there is to do near Niagara Falls. If we had more time we would have liked to explore St. Catherines more as well.
