My check-in at the hotel gave me a feeling that I was at a decent hotel - my experience there was less than expected. The room started off as good and the free breakfast was decent - but not having my room cleaned for 2 days was not acceptable. I was told - Nothing could be done the first day this happened and I was given towels and told this would be resolved! the following day after leaving for the day and returning to my room - I once again found that my room had Not been Cleaned. I went to the front desk and was told that my room should have been cleaned but the cleaning staff had already left and there was nothing that could be done. I informed the front desk on my Extreme Disappointment and that this NEEDED TO BE RESOLVED - She phoned the manager and 2 hours later my room had been serviced. I had also asked why the smoke detector was covered in plastic and I was told it shouldn't be and nothing was done about it. I had also asked when the elevator would be fixed for the second floor and received no answer.
Rooms were not ready at the 3:00 checkin time. Assigned a room that wasnât cleaned. Asked for a refund from the property manager and they denied it. After arguing for my refund the manager canceled my reservation without refund. Iâll be contacting Expedia for my refund
The elevator didnât work so had to carry luggage up the stairs which was difficult. Bathroom drained very slow so ended up standing in a puddle of water when showering. There was a long dark hair in the tub which was not ours which was absolutely disgusting. We both have very short hair so know it wasnât ours.
We will not be staying at Americinnâs again as we have determined that they obviously no longer care about the customer experience. Very disappointed in the experience, especially for what they charge.
Our room was the first room right when you walk in on 1st floor. We heard a thump every other second all night long. I am not sure if it was a washer or dryer or something but it was annoying. I am sure if we were in a different room it would have been fine.
So there is definitely a smell but other than that it is really nice for the price. The service was stellar. The guy at the desk was probably the best part of the trip. Breakfast was good too! Worth every penny!
This property was maintained well, the staff very polite and resonsive to guest needs, the breakfast was good, room clean. It had a pool (just a little cool) and hot tub (temp OK). We enjoyed our stay. Would consider staying again.
