The apartment was superior in quality of provisions and cleanliness. I loved the floor plan. The proximity to the beach was terrific, the grounds are so pleasant, the pool, chairs and tables are well kept and clean. The host was wonderfully accommodating.

Condo has nice updates and is very clean. Good views of the beach from the master bedroom and living room decks. The beach is a short walk on the complex boardwalk. The pool is right outside of the condo...very convenient if you have children with you. Pet walking area is close to condo, and a gated deck makes it a good location if you bring your pup. Sarah was helpful with information about the island and quickly responded to questions, and is very pleasant!

Very clean, comfortable , and convenient! Super close to the pool and steps from the beach. House has all the amenities needed for a nice stay. Plenty of room for our family including 4 adults, 1 teen, and 1 toddler.

Perfect family reunion spot

32 family members stayed in 8 townhome units in this complex.Perfection of time between pool and beach and townhome overlooked the pool and could always see who was walking down the boardwalk to the beach. Of the 8 units our families used this was the most updated. Host communicative all week. Bike ride from here through the Stae Park was one favorite, and sitting on the beach watching shooting stars and right under the Milky Way was another. Will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Wonderful Week at the Beach!

My family has been visiting St. George Island for many years and we've stayed at a few different condos in this community. The Spindrift Sea Turtle has been nicely updated, is very clean, and the owner was excellent with communication. We cannot wait to stay again!

SGI review

Loved our stay here, it was our first time in SGI, and Sarah was a quick text away whenever I had a question or needed a recommendation! Only downside about staying at this condo was the HOA doesn’t allow golf carts on the property. Otherwise we had a fabulous vacation here!

Relaxing in style

This was our 2nd visit to SGI, but our first at the Spindrift Sea Turtle and the Eastern end of the Island. The condo was clean and beautifully decorated, and all of the beds were very comfortable (something that is important when we are away from home!). The condo is in an ideal location--with great views of, and easy access to, the pool and the beach. An added benefit is having the State Park close by for additional access to pristine beaches. Communications with the host, Sarah, were 5. She provided very user-friendly information about what we might need to know about the unit and the area during our visit. Overall, we had a wonderful (but too short) stay at the Spindrift Sea Turtle and will not hesitate to stay there on future visits to SGI.

We booked for a week and it was such a wonderful, enjoyable time with family . The weather was perfection , the house was just what we needed with close access to the beach . Communication with the host was on point and she always got back to us right away and gave us suggestions on places to eat and to visit . would definitely recommend staying with them .thank you for a wonderful experience .

Great getaway

We have stayed numerous times at 300 OM over the years and this was one of the most comfortable. Nicely updated and the bunkroom is adorable. Both Keurig and coffee pot, toaster, and all the basic kitchen supplies. Will stay here again.

Charming!

This property was well-appointed and clean. Communication with the owner was flawless. She was attentive and helpful, the perfect hostess. The condo complex is a touch dated but still charming and inviting. I recommend Sarah, the Spindrift Sea Turtle, and SGI, the home base for a perfect laid-back vacation.

Great place!

The property was good. We enjoyed being together as family. No sunshine and terrible weather conditions made the week very unpleasant! I have been coming to Florida for over 40 years and this was the most bad weather I have ever had. Love Florida and will come again.

Great get-away!

The condo was very comfortable and the kitchen has all the cooking supplies needed for a long vacation. Spacious and well maintained! Lots of room for kids, great pool, and only a few strides from the gorgeous beach. We were very well taken care of by the hosts, too. Great owners! Lots to do here. We were only a few minutes from Apalachicola, a wonderful little historic town, home to Oyster City Brown and known for supplying the US with oysters for years. Make sure you eat at The Owl Cafe. And the St George State Park is only a couple of miles away which has miles of beautiful white sand.

Was perfect location for our family 
 located at the quiet end of the island 
 the unit was close to the pool and we could still see the ocean in the distance ! Owners were awesome, and helped us with the little extras along the way ! We enjoyed our stay!

Great stay

Great get away

The Salty Sea Turtle is an affordable beach front condo that is a good size for two adults and literally a short walk down a boardwalk to the beach. The condo community is filled with friendly retired people. If you don’t have good mobility the Salty Sea Turtle may not be a good choice because three are several stairs and the beds are low but that was not a problem for us. It met our expectations.

Exactly what we were looking for!

We were looking for a pet friendly location on St. George Island that was close to the beach. This was perfect! It had a gated off porch and balcony with ocean views and the walk to the beach was about as close as you can get without being directly on the water. The house was clean, had everything we expected, and the host communication was great! We will definitely look forward to staying here again!
