Plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 children. The Plantation is a lovely location. The pool was a big hit in these warm temperatures. Being pet friendly was a great bonus! We are be-backers!!!

Top Notch at Topsy Turkey!

We were welcomed to a well appointed and clean house. A few issues with the tvā€™s in the rooms but that was not a big deal. The pool was clean and fun. The walk to the beach was short. The houses at the Plantation are always nice.

Family trip to celebrate bday

This property is amazing!! We are a family of 5 with 3 mostly grown sons and a dog - there was plenty of room for everyone to relax either on their own or all together. House was extremely clean and well stocked in the kitchen. Having a pool was a definite plus, as was being to close to the beach. We love staying at The Plantation because all the extras are so convenient (Nick's Hole, fitness center, pool, bike/walking/running path, sunset viewing on west end, fishing spots) I would certainly stay here again! Only caution is for people who have trouble with stairs. We are all fit and in shape so it wasn't an issue, but I can see an elderly person having trouble (3 stories) with the main part of the house being on the 3rd floor. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Every room was spacious we had plenty of room in the living room, dining room and deck for us to be able to sit and eat together. Beautiful house that even came with lots of extras. Had a nice sized pool and the walk to the beach was short. Best sleep Iā€™ve ever had at the beach!! You will not hear any noise.

I will also say that Gulf Coast Vacation Properties was very easy to work with. The first home we had booked sold they helped us find this one and booked it right away. The home is an easy walk to the beach. It has a nice gas grill. The pool area was great as well. It had enough parking for our bay boat and 4 vehicles as well, with room to spare. For the money this home is great!

Elopement Vacay

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The house was perfect for our family and friends to come stay with us for out elopement we had on the beach. The location and privacy is perfect. It's dog friendly, which was great for us bringing our great Dane and little dog. It does say it sleeps 14 but there are only enough before for 11, which thankfully we brought an air mattress so it wasn't a problem for us at all. The management group was always quick with responses as well. We frequent St George a few times a year at a family friends home, but after this stay we've already talked about coming back and renting this property again. Overall we had a wonderful experience.

Itā€™s a short walk to the beach and the private pool was a huge bonus for my grandkids ages 1-9. The house was clean and was equipped with everything that we could possibly need from alllll of the things in the kitchen to even a box of sand toys and some beach chairs. Thereā€™s also a nice high chair as well as a high chair booster seat. Itā€™s also a short walk to the fitness center and Olympian type swimming pool. Itā€™s the perfect location for being able to ride bicycles without having to worry about being ran over. The vacation rental company was very responsive and helpful anytime that I had any questions during the time leading up to our stay. We will definitely check for availability at this house when planning our next big family vacation.

We were especially happy with the close proximity to the beach making it easy for us to make several trips there and back (to take snack and bathroom breaks!) throughout the day. We utilized the pool on Magnolia Street often as it was SO close by, as well as swam in our own pool. Our families appreciated having two comfy couches to lounge on each evening and some games and puzzles to try out. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first visit to SGI. This home was so well located. It was a very comfortable stay for our family to enjoy. The king bed was firm, which we appreciate. The upper deck always had a lovely breeze and acted as an extension to livable space. Our kids loved pool with the house that is cleaned twice a week. The Magnolia community pool is only a short walk. Beach walk less than 5 minutes. The gear rental credit was used and made packing much easier. Rental agency responsive.

We live in a vacation town and have summer mtn home rental, so I get it. A few suggestions:House needs to be up dates. Screen doors are rusted out and most donā€™t close or open. Silverware, is cheap along with most of the kitchen appliances. For example coffee pots and small appliances.Frying pans were not usable. The bottoms were black and smoking when out on stove.The small one had so much burnt stuff. I had to buy two new pans and left them there. For $8000 I expect better quality kitchen. The stove also needs replaced cooks hot glass top is all scratched and is probably the reason the pans were a mess. When we rent a house with family we do a lot of cooking. Need to be able to prepare nice meals. The queen mattress in the second floor bed needs replaced you can fell the springs. The king bed was great and the bunk beds. The pool areas is beautiful. A++ for the management company they were fantastic responsive and professional. One last request.. the tile floors, especially high traffic areas need to be throughly cleaned professionally . The grout is black and leaves your socks dirty when you walk around. I also would not if chosen two white chairs for the great room. I thank you for taking my suggestion from last year and providing a vaccum. I did have to clean it out including hose to use. The guys that came to repair the leak were wonderful, they were polite and very aware of our space and the disruption. Thanks Dean!

The walk to the beach was short, less than 5 minutes. Plenty of parking, kitchen was well stocked, and the wrap around decks were a nice touch. We had a great trip with our family of 8!
