This is a great location located downtown at the base of Signal Hill. It's walkable to downtown businesses, and the view of the working harbour is a nice treat.

The hotel and staff are very nice and we enjoyed our stay very much. The location is good, making the town centre a bit of a walk but not too bad. The room felt small but we think in was because the ceiling is painted a dark blue. The room was modern and well appointed however. The restaurant did not match the level of the hotel. It was very very pricey but they said very good. We expected a restaurant more in keeping with the hotel price point so ate elsewhere. All in all, we will return and be better prepared.

The ocean view was lovely. Parking was a little challenging. Toilet paper was cheap. Only 2 wine glasses in the room. It would be better to have at least 4.

This was by far the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The view from the harbour view room was great, super cool to watch all the ships come in and out of the harbour. The hotel staff that was on our floor was super friendly and helpful. ALSO the restaurant in the hotel was SO good, we went for breakfast one morning and then dinner one evening, lovely view from the restaurant. If you’re coming to St. John’s, stay here! it’s so easy to get around from this hotel and there’s lots around. The perfect honeymoon for us, we had the best time 😊

Paid extra for harbour view - so worth it if you're into watching ships. Shout out to Sean @ Little Sparo, he really looked after us. Maid service was hit or miss.

Overall good experience. Room lighting design was somewhat odd. Poor lighting around bed areas made it difficult to read aside from a very small thing light. All other lights were in opposite side of room and they were spots that shined onto the opposite side. No entrance area light where the full length mirror is located and its location is strange…sticking out and facing you as you walk in. It made for a sombre room. Very cluttered desk/vanity top with fixed useless shelves. Just a weird design for a room. But confortable.

Clean and good restaurant. Staff are friendly. The only thing is the street is on a slope and to walk out to Water street is a bit challenging and dangerous with being in a bind spot on upcoming traffic.
