The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is showing its age a bit, but we were comfortable and enjoyed the self-catering aspect of our room. Location is a bit of a distance to downtown, but the Avalon Mall is close by and very nice for shopping.

We arrived super early and had difficulty checking in...I had hurt my back and just needed to be able to lie down after our flight. Grudgingly we were allowed to check in only to be placed in a room very near the main entrance which was noisy as everyone passes that room on the way to theirs. Later that night we had very noisy neighbors so we requested a room change which we got only to find that they were painting (sanding and grinding) the railings for the next 4 days we were there. It was unpleasant to say the least. The attached restaurant (which offers "room service") requires payment in person, so there is no benefit to having them bring your food. They must get that sorted as it was very inconvenient to walk down each day after eating! We will choose another hotel next time.
