Awesome place to stay while in St. Joe. Right in the heart of the historic party of St. Joe. Very Convenient. Very comfortable. It added to our St Joe experience. I highly recommend staying here.
As a history lover, we enjoyed staying in this older home. It was beautifully decorated, and reflected the arts and crafts era. The home was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. My kids also enjoyed it, but it was a bit tricky keeping the baby from the stars (which I expected), and keeping him quiet for those living below. Communication with the property owner was great as well. My only concern was that some of the surrounding areas were a bit run down and we noticed some shady people nearby. This being said, we did not have any trouble with our stay and our vehicle was safe parked outside. Overall Saint Joseph has some interesting history and was clearly a beautiful city in its glory days. I would definitely recommend this VRBO for a couple or family with older children. It is a historic gem.
This beautiful, historic home had everything we could want or need for a lovely weekend! The 'Edmond' was well appointed in every aspect, and Jason was a fantastic host!
Property was just as described. Street parking in front of house. Steep stairs going up to house. Located close to downtown in quiet neighborhood. The house is a great place for hanging out and spending time with family and friends. We had a lovely stay.
Beautifully furnished house. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets like silk. Had a lovely dinner at Boudreaux .Be sure and try the cajun mashed potatoes and the seafood jambalaya> Yum
Beautiful period house with amenities galore. Kitchen full of snacks and coffee to get you going. Be aware there are lots of stairsâŠno problem for us. One snafu with temperature but I think we just werenât smart enough to figure out thermostat. St Joe has some amazing museums!
This charming home was just perfect for us to stay overnight en route to dropping off our student at Benedictine. It was clean, spacious, 1/2 hour from campus, safe location, and so beautifully decorated with antiques. The owner thought of so many lovely little touches, like the pantry full of grab and go snacks. We loved our stay and will definitely he back.
This review is actually for the 1867 Gothic VanDeventer Home. We were unable to stay at the Edmund because of scheduling issues, but we were able to get the VanDeventer Home for no extra cost. It was a very clean comfortable. It was cool to stay in a historic house. The host was very nice and had great communication. The home is within a short walk of venues downtown. The area was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again if I am inSt. Joe.
Looking for a cute down town place this is perfect!! They have coffee and snacks. The bed is so comfortable! The only down fall is how steep the stairs are getting up to the door. If you struggle with stairs this is not a place you want to stay. They have a lot of stairs to the door as well as when you get inside you have to go up stairs.
It is a duplex as well so you can hear the people under you. Overall it is a super cute place though and is in a great spot.
