My recent stay at Cliffanger in St. Leonards-on-Sea was an absolute delight, leaving our family with unforgettable memories for my partner's 50th birthday . From the moment we set foot in this stunning property, I was enthralled by its charm, breathtaking sea views, and meticulous attention to detail. We were in luck to have a weekend of sunshine...always helpful. One of the standout features of Cliffanger is undoubtedly its mesmerising seaview from the balcony. It's a picturesque vista that instantly transports you to a world of tranquility and serenity. We spent countless hours sitting on the balcony, sipping morning coffee through to cocktails and dinner in the evening. Stepping inside Cliffanger, I was captivated by the impeccable interior design. The house exuded elegance and sophistication, with a perfect blend of modern amenities and classic touches. Every corner of the property seemed to hold a secret waiting to be discovered. Max and Katie's attention to detail was evident, with unique and tasteful decor that created an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. Flowers and bubbles were also a very kind touch to help our weekend celebration. Throughout our stay, we couldn't help but marvel at the thoughtfully incorporated hidden details. From artwork to surprises tucked away in unexpected places ( check the bathrooms), Cliffhanger truly embraced the concept of discovery and added an extra layer of excitement to my stay. Dream House in the charming city of St Leonards-On-Sea

The house is absolutely stunning! The view is gorgeous, the bed rooms were cozy, the house is very well equipped - Max and Katie even supply toys for children – the terrace with the hot tub is amazing, everything looked nice and was very clean. Max and Katie are great host. They react fast, are very friendly – they even prepared a delicious welcoming gift – and offered fantastic recommendations regarding activities and restaurants in and around St Leonards-On-Sea. St Leonards-On-Sea has a great vibe even though not all houses and streets are in good condition. It seems like an emerging city with a lot of cool, new places and interesting people.

What a fabulous house !

Thank you Max for making my birthday so special by letting us celebrate in your beautiful house. We all had a lovely time in a such a spacious , full of character , warm and clean , home like feeling villa. There was absolutely everything we wanted from well equipped kitchen to big , comfortable beds. Jacuzzi is a perfect addition to the celebration with slippers and bathrobes provided. We enjoyed the view over the sea in the morning , with a glass of Prosecco to finish the weekend. I would highly recommend the villa due to the high standard of the house , location and a quiet area. Only 5 mins walk to the beach and a pub , if you want to enjoy a pint of beer. We also had a lovely meal at La Bella vista , thank you for the recommendation. All the best and I hope to see you soon for another family birthday. Thank you !

Spectacular home and absolutely amazing sea view.

Beautiful home with very eclectic decor, just beautiful. Deck/Patio is big, spacious, and wonderful to eat breakfast and watch the tide coming in. Watching the sun go down was an added bonus. Property owners very accommodating and easy to access.

Fantastic 60th birthday! Who needs a hotel when you can go to Cliffhanger? I booked this for my 60th birthday with a group of friends and WOW! I couldn't have chosen better. Everything about the place has been well thought through. The house is really well equipped and attention to detail is outstanding, We loved the view, the hot tub and the fact that we all had lots of space. The welcome by Max and Katie was so warm and friendly and the welcome hamper was unexpected and generous. We had fish and chips at Maggies and we booked a private caterer to come and cook for us (recommended by Max). The whole experience was such a joy and made my birthday memorable. I'm already looking forward to my 65th so I can go back! Thanks Max and Katie. Your communication was excellent and Cliffhanger is a triumph!

Beautiful house with fabulous views

Cliffhanger is a gorgeous home from home, beautifully decorated with all the mod cons you could need for your holiday! We arrived to a fabulous welcome basket full of goodies and met the lovely owners who were super friendly and accommodating. The views from the balcony (where the hot tub is situated) out to sea are just fabulous, especially when the sun comes out as it did for us on our last morning. The house is well equipped and really comfortable, I would definitely recommend. The only slight negative is the on street parking but the owners saved us a space on arrival so we managed to get parked right outside. We had a lovely few days and would definitely return.

Cliffhanger is superb!

My stay at the property was excellent and I was made to feel very welcome. Amazing views in a very grand setting and suitably well appointed throughout to a very high standard. The style being both traditional and modern at the same time. The owner could not have been more helpful with steering me towards some of the local attractions and answering any query's I had. I can't wait to come back! 10 out of 10 and defiantly recommended.
