Unfortunately we need to leave a bad review. The only saving grace was the communication-Dan was very responsive. We were extremely disappointed with the condition of the house when we arrived. The home was far from clean, and we immediately noticed several issues: ants all over the floor in one room, little pieces of trash scattered throughout the rooms, large dust and hair piles along walls, fans had inches of dust on them, mail was covering the entryway, toothpaste splattered on the bathroom faucet, stains and crumbs on the couch, and dirty, stained sheets with hair on them. It was clear it was NOT cleaned before we came. There was no remote for the one tv and the tv wasnât even hooked up to the internet to use an app. Because of the state of the home, we had no choice but to purchase cleaning supplies and ant killer and begin cleaning ourselves. We stripped the sheets and started washing them at midnight in a basement we stumbled upon. We genuinely did not feel comfortable sleeping here, but we had no alternative after arriving due to the holiday. Describing this property as âbeautifulâ feels very misleading based on its current condition. We were able to leave after two nights for a new place but the nights we spent in the filth were not refunded to us, even though we bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the place. Very disappointed in that and the home as a whole.
