This is the 3rd time weve stayed at the Clayton Plaza and every trip has been just as good, if not better, than the first!

When we checked in, the lady at the front desk was not very friendly. Granted it was about midnight, but that is her shift. The rooms were nice enough, but not what I was expecting for the rate of a night, to be honest. I guess it's about location. It was the weekend that I needed to help my son move out of his dorm. We were on a time crunch. I asked the night before if we could get late check out and same lady said I'd have to talk to morning manager. We left the hotel room before morning manager was on duty. We came back to hotel at 11 and asked if we could just have one more hour since we both needed showers and were told no. Their reasoning was they had a full house and needed to get rooms ready. I was sad. Probably won't stay here again when I'm in St Louis next time.

They have a parking garage which is super convenient! The room was only ok, I couldn’t connect to the WiFi. The beds are comfy and nice. One of the front desk workers was rude and acted like it was a burden for asking for more towels. We had asked for more washcloths and she said she would send them tomorrow morning at 8 AM and we did not ever receive them. The breakfast service was great.

On Friday evening my husband called the front desk to inquire about times for breakfast and where it was located and the front desk responded in the key card and hung up on my husband. He was quite confused so I called the front desk with the same two questions and the response was ' breakfast is on 1st floor hours are in key card ' then a dial tone. So surely thinking the desk attendant was confused about my questions I called a 3rd time!!! We didn't ask where the hours were located we asked what were the hours. We travel a lot and stay in many different hotels and we've never experienced such rude front desk people. Was really shocking and unacceptable!!!!

The room was clean and comfortable, and I loved the modern shower experience. The room had a mini fridge that was too loud, so I had to unplug it because it was so noisy it woke me up. Otherwise, it was a nice overnight stay.

Excellent!

Anytime I need to stay in the St Louis area, I stay here. Very classy place, staff is amazing! They have an awesome breakfast included, and the pool is outstanding. The only downside right now is that the place is being renovated, but it’s really not that much of an inconvenience. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Clayton hotel. The pool was really fun being able to go inside and outside. Breakfast was pretty good with lots of options. The bed was very comfortable. The smart showers were pretty cool as well. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
