It Elways very hard to locate the hotel check-in area. The signs were spaced so far apart that it was easy to get lost. Then there was a long check-in line and only 2 people working the desk (plus one who was on the phone the entire time we were in line, so she didn’t help anyone). One of the other two who were actually checking people in was with the same hotel guest for the whole time we were in line. So basically, there was only one person checking guests in. With a big event (Guns ‘N Hoses) in town, there should have been more people checking in guests. But the hotel room was very quiet and clean and comfortable. Overall a good experience except for check-in and finding the hotel lobby.

The room wasn’t clean enough, some of the towel were dirty. The room needs for deep cleaning on dusty carpet and walls. The bedding was made but some bedding covers were dirty or not cleaned correctly.

This is a spectacular building, as most old train stations were/are. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Nice view of the common area (4th floor) with quick hourly "shows" on the water. Climate control worked as we wanted (which is unusual for us), warm while awake and nice and cool while sleeping. There were a couple of things I could grumble a little bit about, but certainly no show stoppers. Parking is ridiculously expensive considering the premium money spent for, well, everything associated with the venue. I would like to see validation for guests, especially if they are booked for multiple nights. Also, I do wish that there were two chairs in the room for the table instead of one comfy chair and an office chair. And please clean the windows. The view is just too cool to be looking through a dirty window. Altogether the verdict is yes, we would stay there again, and recommend it to others.

My stay at Union Station Hotel was genuinely beautiful and unique. The property itself is stunning and has a charm you don’t find at most hotels it really feels like an experience, not just a place to sleep. My room was very clean and the view was really nice, with minimal noise throughout the night. The only thing I would recommend is upgrading the bedding — the sheets and comforter felt a little dated compared to how gorgeous the rest of the hotel is. Check-in was smooth and welcoming. I want to shout out the doorman, I believe his name was Luke, who was amazing. He helped us navigate the property and gave great directions. The valet team was also polite and professional. The location is super convenient if you’re walking to nearby sporting events or attractions, and I felt pretty safe walking around the area. My favorite part of the stay was the activities behind the hotel such a nice touch and made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely return. A few small upgrades to the room comforts would make this a 5-star experience.
