Parking area needs resurfaced and new sign not legible at night. I wasn't aware of the change and did not see the sign. Now I know why I could not find the Town and Country I always stay at.
The people are very nice. The property is older but the rooms are kept up nicely and are clean. I felt safe staying here with my family as we were passing through.
Upon arrival I rang the bell on the door. Apparently after a certain time they check you in through a window. Not like a checkin window, an actual full size window, lady holding the blinds up trying to pass my id back and forth. It was cold outside, I found this ridiculous. Then I was asked for a deposit. I paid through Expedia and dont remember seeing anything about a deposit. If I would have known, I definitely wouldnt have booked here. We had been on a long three day road trip and I was just ready to sleep. The room was cold and took hours to warm up. There was hair on the pillows and sheets and the floors were dirty. Breakfast is very limited. I personally would not stay here again.
It was ok , however it only had old , dingy towels and wash clothes. Luckily I had my own or Iâd probably said something about it. They were both brown and nasty looking. And stunk
Nice little inn. Neat room. Only complaint was the heater wasn't on when we checked in. I think normally this wouldn't be much of an issue except this during the extreme cold spell. The room wasn't cold, but also not comfortable.
