Our stay was for one night (traveled to celebrate a friendâs birthday) Fabulous communication from the owners prior to our arrival, spacious room which was clean. We didnât spend a lot of time there but will not hesitate to use it again.
This property is great, warm welcome on arrival and shown the facilities including home made items for breakfast. While staying you are left to your own devices, can come and go as you please and use the shared kitchen for cooking/ drinks. Home from home when working away.
Good room, free parking and WI-FI. Very wecoming hostess, self-serve breakfast. There is a good sitting area and dining room for guests as well as some outdoor space
The Whitehouse Guest House was a lovely homely place, an older cottage setting. Everything was clean, bathroom kept well with a good shower. We took one of the last rooms as it was a late booking so had to take a twin with a shared bathroom. This wasn't a problem though. Most other guests seemed to leave earlier than us and we left early. Breakfast was a bit poor, with bread, rolls for toasting with jam or butter, yoghurt and cereal - we would have liked fruit or something more substantial for the price.
Not impressed at all, personally I would avoid.
I booked two nights with breakfast.
Breakfast is "do it yourself", the fridge and cooking facities are available so use them if you want breakfast. Because I was there for 2 nights, Towels wern't changed, room was not straightened at all and the bed had seen much better days. There is no one to be found. It is hard enough traveling for work and this B/DIY makes it that bit harder.
I was using as a base for Grafham triathlon. My needs met perfectly. Comfortable room, Shared kitchen , Lounge and dining room. Owners very accommodating. self service breakfast - help yourself from the cupboard and fridge. Local takeaway happy to deliver or you could cook for pourself. They were very happy to allow me a very late departure.
