Beware!! This property does not align with its online description or pictures. We came into town last night for a romantic getaway and nothing about this hotel is romantic or luxurious. There was no functioning pool, bar or restaurant as the description said on Travelocity. The first room they put us in was dirty. The second roomâs ceiling was leaking and the 3rd room had red ants, the air conditioner wasnât working very well and the bathroom lights didnât work. The entire hotel was just old and dirty.
When I checked out I voiced my disappointment and asked for a refund. They said I had to call Travelocity. When I called Travelocity they said the hotel. Travelocity called the hotel and the hotel said because I stayed the night they would not refund me. Just plan bad business. I will never recommend this place and will never be back.
First night was great. Quiet and comfy. Second night didnât even stay because we watched the front desk employee do a line of coke off the front desk when we walked in. Meanwhile he let a bunch of people party it up in the hallways. Expedia listing said parking was includedâŠitâs not. They charge $10 a night to park. There is no pool. Itâs dried up. There is no free breakfast included as stated on the booking. The light fixture in our bathroom was being held up by a toothbrush. Shower barely had any water pressure. Only good thing about this hotel is the location. Please donât stay here.
There was no parking dedicated to the people staying there. Also, the staff didnât want to accommodate me on a new room because the room that was given had a leaking ac unit, and the shower had no shower head.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! This is my first time writing a BAD review.. Elevator didnât work and we were on the 3rd floor. The room was dirty. There were dead bugs on the bed and behind the tv on the tv stand. The toilet seat was loose. The bathroom was disgusting. The towels looked dirty. The fire alarm was hanging out of the wall by wires. We addressed the issues at the front desk and they told us they would have someone come by to clean the room, fix the toilet seat, and fix the fire alarm. They were fully booked as well as the rest of the city. They offered to transfer us to another one of their hotels (why would we wanna do that lol), get a discount, or cancel the reservation. We really had no choice but to stay. Next day, we were out all day and came back to change for dinner and the room was still absolutely filthy. I really donât think they have proper housekeeping. The fire alarm was untouched. But at least the toilet seat got fixed.. The only positive thing was the employees were actually extremely nice which makes it very frustrating when requests didnât get fulfilled. Thereâs also no pool and parking was an absolute nightmare.. thereâs maybe 5 spots on property.. oh and we never received the discount we were promised.
Horrible hotel. Dirty, run down, broken. Third floor room and elevators were out. Just avoid this place at all costs. Found long black hairs all over our comforter. Seriously, pay a little more for a better place. Youâll be glad you did.
Stayed here before and this place is the pits. Had trouble getting a room in time due to A/C issues. No soap, paper towels in the public restroom. Swimming pool is empty and no longer being used. Elevators are out of service. No bottled water but they have an ice machine...not sure never bothered to check. The whole place is just collapsing before their eyes. Sad place of a hotel.
Call me Nev Schulman because I've been catfished. Not only is this property filthy, dodgy and damn near condemned, but the photos posted here are absolutely NOT this property. This wasn't even a "bad for the price" situation; this was something out of a horror movie. Need the elevator? It's been out for over a year. Want to swim in the pool? It's partially drained with an alligator living in it. Want to park your car? You'll pay $10 and not be guaranteed a spot because they don't monitor the parking lot. Want a drink at the bar? It hasn't been operational in what seems like years. Want to open your window for some fresh air? Just brush the mounds of termite wings rotting on the window sill to the side. I can respect the fact the hotel is historic and has some charm, but this was absolutely deplorable and the owners / management should be ashamed to collect payment from unsuspecting people.
