We enjoyed our stay at chalet Hideaway. The host was very easy to reach and provided detailed information in answer to my questions about hikes, restaurants, etc. Although the cabin is in a peaceful, remote setting, civilization and all you might need are just minutes away. I frequented the Walgreens down the hill, 2 members of our group golfed twice in 4 days at the very reasonably priced and close-by Stamford golf club, we had a delicious dinner at the old mill pond inn with many GF options, we hiked at pine kills fall, visited the Gilboa museum (which was unexpectedly closed), and played corn hole and listened to live music at the Rockport cider works. There was plenty to do in the area! The chalet was very comfortable. All mattresses that we slept on were great. The kitchen is well-stocked. The grill was great for the one night we ‘cooked’. We spent a lot of time, especially mornings and evenings, on the deck listening to music. All in all, we had a wonderful stay.
