Our farm is situated on the south side of the Bürgenstock at 920 metres, with panoramic views of the Rigi, Pilatus (steepest cogwheel railway in the world, in summer), Brisen, Stanserhorn, Titlis massif and many other mountains; of Lake Lucerne and the valley. Various hiking trails, viewpoints. Excursion possibilities: Lake Lucerne, rocky path with lift on the Bürgenstock to the Hammetschwand (summer), Bürgenstock railway to Kehrsiten to the lake, many mountain railways and small cableways, Glasi Hergiswil, Lucerne Museum of Transport, various museums in the city of Lucerne 15 km, Engelberg 30 km, Klewenalp 15 km, swimming in the lake in Stansstad 6 km and Buochs 12 km.
Our farm: Dairy farming and calf fattening, shared farm with the neighbour.
Attic flat: double room, twin room, WC/shower, living room with sofa bed for two and dining area, kitchen. Living room also serves as sleeping accommodation for more than 4 people. Attic as storage room.
In winter please bring your car with winter equipment! The road may be covered with snow.
In case of over-occupancy per person and day CHF 10.
For children we offer the following: Toys; baby cot small included; children's tractor; swings
On our farm we have dairy cows, cattle, calves, cats, chickens and bees. The cattle and young stock are on the alp in summer.
Pick-up and drop-off service: We offer pick-up and drop-off services from Stansstad railway station (6 km) or from the Obbürgen bus stop (2 km) (included). Our farm is situated 2 km above Obbürgen on the mountain.
We warmly welcome our holiday guests from near and far to Etschenried!
