It was nice and quiet, the small white dog across the road was so sweet I wanted to take him home. The only thing I would recommend would be to have board games and outdoor games for children like the big connect 4 or giant jenga. It was lovely stay but wasnât expecting it to be so far out the way we didnât bring snacks because we thought the convenience store would be close but it wasnât
A few friends and I came down for a bachelor trip. The cabin had everything we needed. We were able to grill some steaks, sit on the porch, and have a good time. I would rent this place again!
The stay was excellent. My wife and I received this as a gift from our daughters and their families. So glad that sounds great they chose this house to stay. This was a great place. The host was always at the ready to help with anything we needed or recommendations of things to do. We didnât do a lot as it rained and there was flooding around the area. But that wasnât a bad thing as this allowed us to relax. We needed the time away. We plan on going back later this year. It was a beautiful area and a great place to stay. Beautiful inside and out.
Mountain Memories Cabin is such a cute place. The cabin has everything you need for cooking and grilling. There was even food and snacks for us. Just nice little touches throughout. Very clean. The Vrbo pictures are accurate. The beds and furniture were comfortable. After we arrived, Tim and his dog stopped by to say hi, which was really nice. The GPS did take us a bit further down the road but look for the cabin sign and no issues. We love to stay at places that are remote. It was so quiet and peaceful sitting outside on the deck. Close to Red River Gorge. We enjoyed stopping by the farm and feeding the donkeys. I highly recommend this place!
I can't decide what was better, the cabin or the host! Talk about Southern hospitality! Mr. Tipton is a top notch host and we cannot wait to come back to the cabin when the weather is a bit more cooperative. My kids loved meeting and feeding the donkeys! Thank you so very much for having us!
You can really tell that the owner takes pride in this rental. Itâs extremely clean, updated, and has the perfect little touches. Weâve stayed in a lot of rentals where it feels like you get low end leftovers. Not here! From the towels to the toilet paper, everything is provided with quality. We opened the door to beautiful sights, sounds, and smells. Nice touches!
My wife and I wanted to take a one night get away with our two boys to go hiking and enjoy a quiet neighborhood. This property is perfect for that! Plan on staying again next year when we next visit red River gorge! Very cozy and family friendly cabin.
This is my second time staying at the cabin, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time. It's very clean and set up nicely with all you need. It's in a good location for hiking in Red River Gorge. Timmy is a great host - very responsive and helpful. I also enjoy how he and his wife decorate the cabin for the seasons/holidays. And the donkeys and cows are always a plus! If you're in the area, definitely check this cabin out. It's a great place to stay!
This was an amazing place to stay. It was the perfect size for my husband, daughter and myself. The owner was so kind and checked in on us to see if we needed anything. Even stopped and gave us some treats to feed the donkeys. The Highland Cows and the little white puppy were an added plus. We will definitely stay here again.agadmyself. The owner was absokut
This was a very nice place, perfect for the 4 of us. A bathroom in each room was an added bonus. The donkey wakeup call in the morning was cute, we all laughed. The owner Timmy was super nice and helpful! We would stay here again if we came back :)

A friend and I stayed here when visiting Red River Gorge to do some hiking. The cabin is fabulous! Two good-sized bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom. The kitchen has all you need in terms of dishes and cooking utensils/pans. There was a lovely back porch and fire pit in the front. The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated for the season. We appreciated those little touches. The host, Tim, was very responsive and helpful. He met us when we checked in, introduced us to the donkeys and cows next door, and even let us feed the donkeys. Total bonus! We hiked the Double Arch, Courthouse Rock, and Auxier Ridge Loop. The cabin was a 40-minute drive from the trailhead. It's a relaxing place to stay. I'd definitely come back, and hopefully stay for longer so I can take advantage of the cabin more.
