The Nittany Lion Inn has an old world feel with modern conveniences. The lobby seating area is a nice place to read a book or gather with friends. The coffee and snack bar, Dear Joe, has nice offerings throughout the day. Triplett’s is a pleasant gathering place for drinks or food. We also had a tasty Valentine’s dinner at the Lionne restaurant

A beautiful old building, the King suite was a fantastic room at a reasonable price, but some major flaws. The shower water was regulated and never more than tepid, and I had to approach the housekeeping each day for more soap, coffee etc. I don't have very demanding requirements but I do expect to be able to have a hot shower. Parking was problematic, there's a parking deck nearby but that was full on the first day I was there, so that's not good. Coffee shop on the ground floor was hit or miss, sometimes no staff serving and a limited stock of snacks and sandwiches. This is a really nice premises, with fantastic public spaces, but fails some of the basic hotel services. I would probably return
