The place was 12 min driving from main campus, 4 from Target and other stores so it was pretty convenient. The restaurant has a very nice view downside it closes at 9pm.

When I checked in, they didn't have the room I booked. The room was on the ground floor with a patio ..no deck. It was so dirty you couldn't use the chair or table. The viiew was the parking lot. The matress was shot and they were replacing all the matress's in the hotel. I received one by the second night.

When we got there, our rooms were not ready and they were not adjoining rooms like we asked for. My son spilled his water on the floor in the bathroom and we wiped it up with a towel and the towel ended up being yellow. Check out isn’t until 11 AM And housekeeping was knocking on our door at 9 AM. We told them that our son was sleeping in the other room that we had and not to go in there. Housekeeping proceeded to knock on that door anyway, even though it had do not disturb on it and when they didn’t answer, he walked into the room. My husband yelled at him for going into that room.

Seems dated. Charming location! Room smelled like cigarettes, lots of ashes in little balcony so we couldn’t sit out there. Broken toilet seat. Couldn’t get on the “Toftrees” internet as posted (used the Field internet instead). I wanted to love it!

Our door, which was deadbolt locked, shook all night long whenever anyone else entered the hallway. It sounded like someone was knocking on the door all night long.

Pros include the restaurant on site is excellent and the bed (although just a double) was awesome. Cons include hotel advertises as being recently renovated (I don’t think so), our room didn’t have a refrigerator and was clearly dated and the parking lot has absolutely no lights. There was a man in a hoodie standing outside the hotel just watching the parking lot for a long period of time. This may have been completely innocent but the fact that there were no lights made me feel unsafe. While the staff were very courteous and the facility was clean, I don’t think we will stay here again. We will continue to eat at the Field & Tap

Will stay here again

The staff were all so friendly and professional. I only stayed for one night to attend orientation for my daughter at Penn State so unfortunately I wasn’t able to take advantage of the pool or the restaurant as I had planned. I pretty much only slept there but the bed was SO comfortable. The location was very convenient as well and I will definitely stay here again.
