The lady at registration was very nice and professional.the big issue came when we went to shower No Hot water at all had to take cold showers and baths and there was no maintenance personnel working the eve shift to help address the issue. The room was nice and clean no hot water is the deal breaker

There was mold in the bathroom ceiling, dust all over th room. The room smelled like stale air and dog. There was a cricket crawling in my pillow in the middle of night. I had to buy my own cleaning supplies and deep clean the bathroom and Lysol the room to get the odor out. The shower curtain was dirty. I will not be staying here again. The quality of the hotel was terrible for the $500 I had to pay. Highly disappointed

Seemed outdated and not in the best area. There is also a train that runs right next door that woke us up after midnight and had the windows shaking for several minutes. We left at 3am just to get out since we weren't getting any good sleep. Very disappointed.

Cleanest Best Western Ever!

This was the cleanest Best Western I have ever been to! All of the staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful. The breakfast was fresh. I will definitely book another stay on my next trip.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Bear Western property in Staunton. The hotel was very clean, staff was super friendly, the room was adequate and in good condition. All on all a great stay. My only point of feedback is for the shower - when the trigger is pulled on the faucet it doesn't engage fully.

This place was safe and the staff friendly. It was run down and the bed looked like someone had made it up and then lounged on it before we arrived. Also the phone was off the hook which was just odd. Was fine for a night or two.
