You get what you pay for. There was only 1 coffee cup, top bunk was difficult to use due to height of mattress. Hot water ran for two minutes and then freezing cold, so no hot showers for us. Bottom
Kitchen cupboards need a good clean/resurface.
Nice enough to stay. We stayed in a bus which was exciting as it was different but wouldnât have wanted to stay in it longer than what we did. There is little privacy - donât shower at night as the neighbours will see you through the window- I realised this after the fact :( shower in the dark people lol
There is only Half a curtain at the front of the bus, so ppl outside can see alllll the way down your bus. It needed a good dust in the bus. And the 2 heaters that were in it only just took the chill out of the air, they didnât warm the bus up- it was still cold in bus.
You can only use a certain amount of power at once otherwise it cuts out. Wasnât a huge deal, but if I had of known about these things I probably would have went for a more private caravan or unit. But we still enjoyed our stay, the kids loved the bus so that was the main thing. The park has good facilities and a nice water area with ducks to relax at.
Staff friendly.
Loved the quirky caravan. A shame that the ground was so dusty. Unfortunately we walk it into the caravan on the carpet. I missed not being able to park closer to our accommodation.
We stayed in one of the shipping container units. Was an interesting experience! We loved the queen bed bunk beds- very creative use of space! Future visitors may be interested to note that the toilet is completely black in a black room. So it was hard to see! Also the shower has no lighting over it, so you shower in the shadows.
Otherwise, the whole park is lovely and peaceful. I'd recommend staying here, especially if you like industrial decor!
Stayed one night with family visiting from overseas. Comfy beds and pillows, and pleasant environment overall. However, inside the cabin could do with some cleaning, we could see hair and stain on the kitchen floor
and sticky dining table on arrival. Old dining chairs, broken lamp, no WiFi, no toilet paper and bin bags.
Hammervan very hot, no exhaust fan in the bathroom so everything fogged up, building site happening at the time so no privacy with work man walking around your van & found the manager to be rude, taking photo of my dog, as other dogs had killed wildlife before donât put my dog in that category, lovely Irish girls there though .
My Stay at this place was absolutely terrible as i booked a cabin and they put me up in a caravan with 2 lamps to see with and no lighting to shower with and with the hot weather they had a portable air conditioner which was not cooling the area of the van. Also no television as you pay good money to stay there, i would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
We stayed in a budget cabin which i would expect furnishings to be cheap which they definitely were but there is budget then there is down right trash .The bed was so old it had springs poking out , we had to put our own camping mattress's on top, the window frames were all rotting and the walls were all cracked, power points hanging from the wall down right dangerous, and don't even get me started on how dirty it was cutlery had food on it bugs and dead flys on plates pillows were grossly stained .Its all good spending a tone of money on new cabins but i think the ones they are hiring need alot of TLC
The only thing good about our stay was the huge Towels after a really bad shower
