Great Steamboat Springs Summer Getaway

We had two couples and wanted two private bedrooms with accompanying bathroom facilities ... this was one of the few properties that met our criteria.The beds were comfortable and while the bathrooms are small, they are workable. The host was great with communications and made our check-in process a breeze. She followed up quickly when we had questions on-site.Facility is centrally located in a safe neighborhood and easy to access local restaurants, etc. The condo is clean and well maintained although the sofa and especially the dining room chairs are showing wear - we played games at the table and the seats weren't the most comfortable. Overall, we were very pleased with the accommodations. Kitchen was good sized and featured all the necessary cooking gear, serving supplies, etc. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub area as well. For our purposes, it was a positive experience and we would recommend especially if you're seeking two private rooms with comfortable beds and adjoining bathrooms. Thank you!

Nice place to stay. Kitchen well equipped. All basic needs were met. Can rent ski equipment at sports store next door. Bus stop 1 block away. Small grocery close. Pictures make rooms appear much larger than actual size. Storage for clothes was a challenge. There was a black film on the floors that turned my feet and socks black from the substance put down on streets for ice/snow.

Great location

Property is in excellent location to base area. The condo itself is great. However, it seems the owners have stopped maintaining it. Half the coffee mugs had chips. The bathroom door handle kept falling out. A towel bar sat unattached to the wall. The worst part of it is the stairs are dangerous. Our daughter fell down the stairs b/c the ends of the stairs tip down and the handrail is loose. This all needs maintenance. I immediately emailed the owner/property caretaker but maintenance never came.

Close to the gondola

Very close to the gondola and clean grounds. The 5 of us fit in just perfectly, but you could probably fit a few more if needed. Newer counter tops which looked very nice. It was nice having AC in the summer, many places do not have AC.

Lots of issues during our stay

Lots of hiccups during our stay. Unit was not clean yet by 4p when we arrived. Master shower drain was clogged so there was standing water. Managers asked us to buy draino and try to trouble shoot first. Finally had a plumber out 3 days after they were notified and fixed it. Kitchen shelves were not secured so a shelf of drinking glasses collapsed and glass broke everywhere (this was the most stressful part of our stay). By the time we left the shelves had not been secured. Location of property and shuttle service is great

Great Location and Place

Condo is very central to everything, close to the free transit and anything you need. Complex has a great pool and Rec room so there are also areas to relax on-site. Condo is well outfitted with things you need and I appreciated the cabinet of spices and cooking oils. Would 100% come back. When we arrived the beds weren’t made, there were clothes in the washer and dryer, left behind kids clothes in the bedroom and the showers had not been cleaned. I do believe the entire complex is cleaned by one company so it’s not a reflection of the host but perhaps short staffing. We didn’t mind, I did an extra clean before unpacking, but I do know others who would care about these things.

We enjoyed our stay. Condo looked just like photos. Manager was prompt in responding. Cleaning supplies would have been nice, toilet tissue is what my family refers to as John Wayne paper, doesn’t take crap off anybody!

Nice location, poor communication and the unit is falling apart

I had high hopes for this location after seeing the pictures and reading the description. I reviewed a lot of listings and settled on this spot due to its location to the base and the hot tub being open during the extended closing weekend. The communication before the stay was decent. However, communication issues started as soon as I arrived. In trying the garage code it did not work. It's not rocket science to open a garage door via the keypad, the code simply did not work. In the welcome email It says to call the number for emergencies but when you call that number it says to email them instead. I left a voicemail but they never did. I waited for about 2 hrs with no response. I walked over to the office but they had left early since it's late season. I called the office number, no one answered and the voicemail box was full. After seeing a security guard driving around I asked them to open the unit, only then was I able to gain access to the unit. Over 12 hours went by before I even received response from this property management company giving me the same code again. Had I not seen the guard outside I would have likely not been able to get in until the next day when the office opened. With the lack of help from the management company I worked directly with the office to get them to fix the code. The property management company made me feel like an idiot and that I had no concept on how to enter a code. Once again this is not something that someone who is staying there should have to manage as that is what you pay the high fee for but it was either that or never get into the garage from the outside. There is also the issue of the fireplace that never worked the whole time even after reporting it. They blamed it on not being able to find anyone but it was still something that was a problem the whole week. The baseboard heat had a hard time keeping up or catching up if it's kept low when out (does automatically). If you like it warm then you would likely have to wait 6 to 8 hours for it to get up to temperature when it's cold out. The sauna which is in the master room is behind bunk beds that you have to move in order to get in. There was also the issue of towel racks falling off the wall, TP holders,non working ice maker and broken cube trays. Keep in mind the rooms face the trail and the brewery so the view is not great. There are plenty of other units here that you can enjoy that are not managed by this company. Avoid this one at all costs.

Perfect ski vacation

This was the ideal location, just a short walk to the gondola. We really enjoyed the sauna & hot tubs in the club house. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, easy to check into & had everything we needed. This was our first trip to steamboat but hopefully not the last. We would definitely book here again.

Great Location

We had a great time and loved our “home”! This place was big enough for a family of five all over 5’9”. It’s a cute little condo with a great location. The finishes are a bit busy and the bathroom temp plate needs flipped, but otherwise no issues at all. We would stay here again.
