Great weekend of scalloping

The property was extremely clean The amenities were fantastic. The home was very well stocked with all of our needs! The grounds are kept up to a T. Docking was easy with the boat ramp right next-door. Water in Power was available at the boat dock, which is a plus. Perfect for a great scalloping weekend. Will be back in the future.

Great stay!

The key lime cottage is adorable. Fit us perfect for our family vacation for scalloping. There is one parking spot reserved, limited other parking although we didn’t have any issues with our two cars. You are able to walk to the pool from the cottage. Only complaints would be the mattresses are a bit uncomfortable and wished they were bigger but we would still stay again!

Adorable little neighborhood

We loved our weekend stay at the Key Lime Cottage. The cottage was comfortable and adorable and the Steinhatchee Landing Resort is the cutest place! My only recommendation for this property owner is please do something about the master bed....the mattress protector that is on that bed is such thick plastic that it is loud and crinkly every time you move. The sheets on the master bed were also not great. If we stayed here again we would make our kids sleep in the master bedroom and take the loft bed for ourselves because it was much more comfortable.

Scalloping Steinhatchee Landing - Key Lime Cottage

Updated cottage in beautful Steinhatchee Landing Resort. Large master suite and newer kitchen. Unit was clean and check-in was easy. The mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced! No support and lumpy. I also recommend bringing your own pillow(s). My wife ended up sleeping in the loft with our 10 yrs old daughter and I slept on the couch. I'd like to provide a better overall rating but when you cannot sleep in the master suite it takes away from the experience.

Great family trip to enjoy Old Florida outdoors

We loved our stay at the Landing, convenient to the boat ramp and some extra amenities for the kids with the animals, pool and playground. Key lime cottage was exactly like the photos and actually bigger than expected. Kitchen was fully equipped and there was plenty of room for our parents and 2 kids to stay with us. A small guide/map of the property would have been helpful, but we were able to figure it out easily. Looking forward to making this tradition and coming back next year!

Nice cottage with comfortable furniture

Very nice cottage, clean with plenty of towels. Only complaint is the master bedroom mattress was not firm....lumpy....needs a new one. We both woke up with back ache daily.

Great place

Great location! Kitchen was awesome and had everything you needed. The kitchen windows were my favorite thing about this house! Loved them! TV did not work so if you like to relax at night and put on your Netflix, be prepared to bring your own screens. Had to call for WiFi info which was tucked in a drawer on a scrap piece of paper. I would suggest putting on a permanent board in the kitchen. Upstairs is a loft and not an actual bedroom so if you are cooking in the kitchen or hanging in the family room, the people upstairs will have difficulty with noise. Bathrooms were awesome! Too hot to sit on the porch, but during a cooler time, i would have lived out there! Porch is adorable! They were very against any kind of early checkin because “everyone wants it.”Place had not been rented for three days. It was already cleaned and ready to go. They were “ok with one hour earlier.” I have a few of my own rentals and can’t do early checkin if same day checkin checkout. But always love how happy it makes people when we can do it for them. Other families we were with that were staying at other properties at the resort were granted early checkin with no problem. So with your time of travel, I would book one that will be more accommodating if possible issue. Fiddler properties offers a golf cart rental. Having a golf cart was great. But super expensive! 420 bucks for three days! And I checked another company and they were same price! Hot commodity! We have already booked a different place for next year because the resort is so awesome! Can’t wait!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Key Lime Cottage. We played at the pool, kayaked the river, cruised on our golf cart rental, petted the goats, and just relaxed in the slow-paced, quiet neighborhood. And when we needed to take care of some business, Patty took time out of her day to make it happen. We can't wait to return!

Old Florida

Steinhatchee Landing Resort is the donut hole surrounded by the donut which is the town of Steinhatchee. The town definitely is OLD FLORIDA. The people were nice but not what I expected for Florida. Very rural. Steinhatchee Landing is lovely and the house I stayed in, Key Lime, was very nice.
