Beware of deposit

On arrival carpets are badly stained and desperately need cleaned. The silicone in the shower has black mould - it needs replaced. Strong smell of spices in the fridge - needs a thorough clean. Washing machine has strong smell of mould - despite running a cycle, the strong smell was still there. The location is good and it does have private parking. The flat has potential if they cleaned it properly. They ask for a refundable deposit and an ID to stay. Since our departure and two emails later, we are still awaiting a reply and refund of our deposit. No reason at all to withhold our deposit. Other reviews on other platforms state the same issue, please be aware of this.
