We reserved this room because if it’s affordability. However, when we entered the room it was quite evident that someone had been seated on the bed, the bathroom light was on, and the toilet seat was up in the “male usage” position. There was a variety of dead bugs on the window sill, and at night there were bugs crawling all over the bathroom floor. The fitted sheet did not stay in place and I had to get up several times to fit it back over the mattress. The coffee was so weak as to look like the color of tea and the breakfast included eggs but nothing to go alongside but biscuits and gravy, which is not something that most people choose. I have stayed at La Quinta hotels before and been satisfied, so I can only chalk this up to the Stevens Point, Wisconsin facility.

POOR customer service by the Manager the filthy iron ruined my expensive Talbot jacket. The Manager called the owner who said they would provide a partial refund on the room ' in a couple of days' The credit card was billed full price. When called multiple times they said Hotels.com would refund the money. Multiple calls and no refund.

Hotel in poor condition. Was surprised as it had a good rating. Room was clean, but dingy. Public areas not very clean. Looks like some maintenance was being done (light panels off, wires exposed). Very sparse breakfast.

Had a pretty bad experience here. While the staff was courteous, the property was outdated and need some serious attention. Entrance is a smoking area which gave an initial bad impression due to the smell. At around 1am I was woken up by terrible creaking sound from upstairs. I thought someone checked in late and tried ignoring it. That lunatic kept walking with thuds and creeks for over two hours. I complained at the helpdesk but had no luck. With pillows around my ears I could sleep for a couple of hours only to be woken by creeks and thuds around 5am. Breakfast was for the name sake. Overall not a good experience

My husband stayed there for one night. He said it was a very nice and clean hotel. He didn't partake in the bkf since he left real ealy but did say the coffee was good at 1:30am. Friendly staff overall a pretty good place to stay.
