The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and plenty of extras, such as spices, etc. to help. Place with clean safe and comfortable and the view was wonderful! The only drawback was that it took the main heat pump seemed to struggle to keep the home at the desired temperature. Outside of that everything was excellent.

We loved our stay at Stevenson! It was absolutely serene and wonderful. The views were wonderful and we enjoyed watching the storm from the big window and the deck. The house was very clean and well appointed. We loved the art and modern feel of the house. We felt right at home. We'd definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! This was the most "stocked" house of our entire OR/WA trip. The house is super clean and organized. The owners have left polite notes throughout the house. Yes, the train does come by more frequently than we imagined BUT it was no problem for us. I am a light sleeper. Owners left earplugs but honestly it was no issue for me. If I woke, I fell right back to sleep. The views are incredible. We sat out on the deck in the am and pm. I wish we'd stayed another day. SO much great hiking nearby and Stevenson is super cute!

This was a perfect location to visit the Columbia River Gorge! The house was clean and the view was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the kite surfers, and some rabbits and quail in the yard. The town of Stevenson had a great little grocery store and several good restaurants. Highly recommend!

First the view was great, the kitchen is well stocked, The house was very clean. Downside was everything runs off WIFI and it went down so we had no Tv or radio. Also the signal was to week for the tv in the master bedroom when the WIFI did work. Also the bed in the master bedroom is very low. Other than that we really enjoyed the rest of the stay.

Property is clean and well kept. The kitchen had everything we needed. Good communication on any signs. We were able to relax and enjoy the company of everyone. We played games, read books, and enjoyed good food.

Neat house and location

We really liked this house and the location overlooking the river was really cool. Unfortunately we had a not ideal check in experience. When we showed up at the house we thought we were at the wrong place because a light was on and a car was parked at it. We drove around for several minutes to be sure we had the right house. When we came to the front door it was unlocked so we opened it and called out but no one responded. After several tries a woman cleaning the house presented herself. She was flustered that we had shown up (even though we were 40 minutes past the check in time) and hurried and left without finishing. When we complained to Vacasa they gave us a 50 dollar refund but were very rude and condescending to us. The house itself was very nice with just a few things to note. The train comes by several times a night and is quite loud, especially for light sleepers. Also the instructions at the house (for winter) tell you that if you want the rooms to get warm enough you need to leave all the bedroom doors open. This was tough with young kids that go to bed early, and us wanting to stay up past this time. You have to choose to either be quiet in the rest of the house or just have rooms that are pretty chilly. The living room would benefit from having a real couch instead of a futon. Besides this we loved the telescope, the outdoor fire pit, and the espresso machine.

Family together for wedding at Cascade Locks

Very nice home. Lots of amenities. With 6 adults, the trundle beds were a little less comfortable for one couple. Also, could have used more space to hang clothes. Loved the deck with the view of the river. Close to good restaurants an we shopped at the grocery store in town. Thank you very much!!

Lovely Lakeview Home

Wow! Such a beautiful property. We absolutely loved the stunning views from the master bedroom and the living room! It was quite spectacular to wake up to that every morning. We highly recommend this property if you’re ever in the area. We were attending a wedding at the Skamania Lodge and this property was just an 8 minute ride away. It does get really dark at night so if you’re coming back from a night out do be careful walking from your car to the door: speaking of dark nights, the stars at night are breathtaking. We’re originally from the city so I’d have to say this was the best stargazing experience we had. Highly recommend 10/10 and we would love to come back if we’re ever in the area

Columbia River Gorge

Beautiful facility with remarkable views of the Columbia River and Mountains. The big negative was hearing constantly a train horn at all hours of night which for light sleepers is a nightmare The low bed in the master bedroom is highly unusual No real TV service with the exception of Netflix The living room furniture needs to be updated and should be more comfortable
