Home was exactly as anticipated. Very clean, thoughtful accommodation details, organized, beautiful sunrise views, quiet neighborhood/houses in near proximity. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway. Owner/host communications are detailed and responsive to inquiry.Kentmorr Restaurant and Marina is close. Enjoyed a half day fishing charter catching the Rock Fish limit. Don’t miss the sunsets from this location.

Relaxing time on the bay

The house is as described and well kept. We had a relaxing weekend with friends. It’s a little bit of a drive to get to Annapolis but there’s some good places to eat on the island.

Great location incredible view

6 adults for a wedding Check in easy, very comfortable home with lots of space. Owners are great people to rent from. They helped us connect with a neighbor whom delivered fresh steamed crabs ready to eat. Kitchen is very well equipped. Also very close to bike trail. The last Saturday of the month the local firemen put on a chicken/pulled pork BBQ. Food was excellent.

Perfect Girls' Weekend

Our girls' weekend at this VRBO was absolutely perfect! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the gorgeous interior and stunning views. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, making our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The hot tub was a huge hit and added an extra touch of luxury to our getaway.The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire house was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. We truly appreciated the attention to detail.The host was fantastic! Their communication was excellent, providing us with all the necessary information and details before and during our stay. The check-in process was seamless and easy.The location was ideal, offering easy access to both Annapolis and Kent Island, allowing us to explore the area with ease. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Fabulous Birthday by the Bay!

Loved staying at Chesapeake Cottage! Perfect location on the east bay but just minutes from the Chesapeake Bay. The view were spectacular especially at at night since we were there during the Blood Moon. The house is beautifully decorated with a wonderful sun room overlooking the water. The house is well equipped and comfortable. I look forward to going back during warmer weather, but even in March, the visit was agreat, especially with the fire pit out back.

Beautiful, relaxing, and well-equipped

The Chesapeake Cottage was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. It had space to spread out and places to gather together. We’re a group of four sisters and one sister-in-law who spend a weekend together each November. This was the perfect place for us to play games, relax in the hot tub, view the sunrise, enjoy the water view from the sunroom and lawn, and make great meals. We would definitely rent again, and would recommend to others.

Cute Cottage!

We had a wonderful stay at this great property, while in town for my niece’s wedding. The location on the water is perfect, and the house was clean and well thought out. A well stocked kitchen, plenty of seating, and lots of little extras you don’t often find in a rental home. It is obvious that the owners put a lot of thought and care into their property. Our only suggestion would be to remove the loose boards with rusty nails down by the little beach area
this would have been a dangerous hazard if we had children in our group. Other than that, we have nothing but great things to say about our experience. Thank you Tom and Nancy!

We loved being right on the water

This was the perfect house for our family - my wife and I plus 4 adult 'kids'. Everything inside was comfortable and clean, but we spent most of the time outside. We brought our kayaks and launched from the nice sand beach. We also found that you can walk quite a way into the water and it's still only a few feet deep. We all loved the hot tub and spent most nights sitting around the fire table.

Family getaway

Beautiful home but I would highly recommend for couples without children that really want privacy and peace and quiet. There was not really enough to do and had to travel a good amount of distance for attractions etc. The small little beach at the end of the property is not really a beach and very difficult to get to with all the rocks. No dock and the time we stayed was miserably hot and extremely buggy. Flies and mosquitoes were terrible. I bet this location would be great in the fall.

Perfect Easter weekend getaway...

Immaculate home, beautifully organized, and well-stocked with all the essentials! We really liked the open floor plan in the main living area. This was perfect for our family. We enjoyed sunrise from the Adirondack chairs and relaxed in the (clean!) hot tub. Owners were timely in all communication and check-in/check-out procedures were clearly described.

The memories we needed

This was an amazing place to stay. The sunrises allowed you to start fresh everyday. The open layout of the home provides all the opportunity in the world to keep in communication with the group and does an amazing job keeping everyone engaged with each other. Just a 8 minute drive to see sunsets that make your jaw drop! Great home, the host were ultra reaponsive. It allowed us to have the vaction my family deserved.

Wonderful getaway

I highly recommend this perfect Chesapeake Cottage! We had a wonderful girls weekend! The location was quiet and quaint with beautiful views. The cottage was clean and welcoming with beautiful modern decor. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We didn’t want leave it was so nice. Would definitely book this house again.
