This property needs a bit of TLC
Itâs in a Good central location but parking is a nightmare
I was disappointed that there was no food available and wasnât advised before our arrival but saying that there was plenty other restaurants close by
Staff where friendly and the bar was okay as for value for money 3/10
Large well appointed clean en-suite room in a lovely period property. The bathroom is showing signs of ageing (cracked floor tiles, shower tiling could do with a little treatment and wooden loo seat probably needs replacing). Lovely style overall in a super location but just a little tired in places.
Staff werenât very welcoming.
No food service on evening.
Light bulbs not working in room.
And being quizzed by staff who arenât on duty asking us in the middle of the bar where we are going when we were resting to our room. Was absolutely not impressed.
Not bad but needs a good spruce up. There was a bath mat covering a burn in the carpet next to the bed and the ceiling of the shower was moldy and dirty.
We loved this place. The room was spacious, the bed was big and comfortable, and there was a refrigerator. The breakfast was great, as was the staff. The carpet was pretty worn on the stairs and halls, but everything else was in pretty good shape. We did have to park in the NCP parking lot a few blocks away, but that was no problem. And the location was wonderful-- for most of the Shakespeare activities, for the market, for the theater, and for great restaurants and stores. We would stay there again.
Staff very helpful, great location and comfy bed. Only area of improvement would be the en-suite, floor tiles cracked and unstable in places. Room still functional though.
