Gorgeous place, we loved the building and views, common areas are lovely, dining room is amazing. Staff is friendly and food is very good.
Downsides are:
No ev chargers
Rooms can use some renovations.
Overall it exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Dinner was very plain and all meals the same veg with a different meat, price was good though bar was well stocked. Rooms quite dated but price reflects this. Overall a nice quiet stay
The hotel is very dated but clean and served our needs for a stopover during a motorcycle tour with plenty of parking for the bikes.
Breakfast was plentiful and the haggis was amazing.
Not much to do in Strathpeffer but we found a lovely little cafe a few mins walk away
Very clean room and a very comfy bed too.
Beautiful place. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Easy walking distance into the village.
We had our evening meal there, which was really excellent!
We would definitely stay again, if in the area and would recommend it to others.
Generous breakfast choice, staff very helpful.
Good location to enjoy the outdoors

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The hotel is set in a nice location. Unfortunately our first floor room, as did many others, looked onto an internal roof area which was shabby and dirty. General decor was tired and dated. Food was ok. Could not fault the staff who were friendly and helpful. Room prices did not justify state of the hotel.

This is a lovely old manor house that is used by the bus tour companies. The house and carpets need some TLC as they are worn in places and the paint is a bit chipped. Although functional, the bathrooms could be updated.
The grounds are lovely and it is very quiet- just birdsong. It’s only 40 minutes to Inverness and the village itself has a number of attractions.
Good older style hotel in a good location. Dinner in the dining room was convenient but had very limited menu and took a long time to be seated despite having a booking and it not being full, staff looked at us several times before someone finally came to us. Breakfast was better, fresh tea, coffee and toast. Hand held shower head only in rhe bath but a bath was a welcomed treat
Very accommodating staff, room was changed at check in after discovering there was no bath in allocated room.
Room was spotless, lovely toiletries and very quiet (for the first night anyway)
Good selection for breakfast

everything was brilliant start to finish ,staff being courteous and helpful and the food bar manager was absolutely amazing polite helpful and too the stick from my son calm all way through our stay 😀
This was such a fun place. We were visiting Inverness and wanted to stay in a quieter place outside of town. This turned out to be a hidden gem. The town is so quaint and quiet, we absolutely loved it! The property is an old manner that is beautiful and must have been a beauty in its hay day. It had a few quirks that come with old properties but you have to know you’ll have some of those things if you’re are going to stay in a place like this. The staff was so fun and friendly. We would stay here again in a heart beat.
