I stayed three nights ( room 150) second evening I found apparent rodent feces and soiled toilet in bathroom; showed to front desk staff who agreed but did not clean up; next day manager agreed with my assessment, had me take my belongings out and moved me to another room (151); she demonstrated no knowledge of risks of rodent feces and human excrement exposure and no understanding of proper biohazard clean up and remediation. I requested refund and none granted.
Breakfast: apparent generic cereal, no fresh fruit or yogurt, very slim pickings for vegetarian or vegan.
Safety: sidewalk was being replaced in front of facility; there was a drop off of 4-6 inches from parking lot to removed sidewalk; I observed no warning signage, no warning tape or other safety cordoning.
Facility old, carpet degraded, room furnishings scratched and marred. No USB charging capability.
Deferred maintenance: sink stop nonfunctional in both rooms.
Best Western Customer Relations: of no benefit whatsoever; facility privately owned and operated, management decisions not subject to intervention by BWH.
