Overall our stay was good. The guide was nice to have that kept everything in one area for referencing. There were several features however that could use improvement, including general maintenance of things we noticed throughout the house or things that were supposed to be included as part of the rental. Including: Broken dining room chairs, bathroom showers that weren’t covered and could throw water everywhere (not to mention the full size mirror right across from the toilet so you can watch yourself), paint missing or wall damage in several rooms, games that didn’t work, locking sliding glass door, unlocked side gates, water filter in fridge needed to be replaced, no dishwashing liquid, limited kitchen supplies (pots/pans for cooking and baking), the cleaners left sticky residue on the kitchen appliances, etc. These weren’t a huge detriment to our stay but did notify the property owner about them. Owner was very prompt to respond and also the check-in and check-out process was very easy. Otherwise the location for us was great and central to most of the places we were going and easy to find. It is on a busier street and the backyard is all sand with rocks plus a pond that was drained when we stayed, which would have been more pertinent for us to consider if families or smaller children were with us. We had four adults, so not a concern. Would recommend and stay again, just would be hoping some of the features mentioned would be fixed for full use of those areas.

House was wonderful and the arcade kept the kids occupied for HOURS! Super close to a Walmart and downtown activities. We used this as our base camp to explore all that Door County has to offer. Simply wonderful.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. There was an issue which caused us to have a late check-in, which was eventually resolved. There are only 3 coffee mugs and only one tv remote that worked for 3 of the tvs. The location was convenient for our stay.

This house is well located in a residential neighborhood of Sturgeon Bay with very easy access to the main roads north through Door County as well as a quick walk to the local YMCA which has a great gym and nice facilities. That said, this house would be better suited for a group of 20 something’s vs. families with young kids and pets in my opinion. The game room certainly is very cool and fun if you’re into that and the kitchen is well equipped. The house just wasn’t very clean and the layout is impractical. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs but there is only one full bath up there. The second full bath is all the way in the basement which is difficult with several little kids and adults. The kids room with the bunkbeds doesn’t have an AC unit either, which made it hard for them to sleep and they kept ending up in the adults rooms. The pool isn’t a pool. It’s sort of a scummy water pit in the backyard that’s both an eyesore and not something anyone would go in. They should fill it in or make it into an actual pool. The back yard is covered with sand instead of grass which is a mess and not great for dogs, despite being nicely fenced in. There is grass out front so we ended up leashing our dog for walks instead. The house had a coating of sand on the floor when we got there and the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms all could have used a real deep clean. They were all superficially cleaned but not truly clean - ie empty candy wrappers in drawers. Limescale problem bad too

Different than online photos

Location in sturgeon Bay was great. Size of the property was nice. But compared to the online photos, we were disappointed. The swimming pond was not up for swimming. The yard could use a cleanup to remove torn cushions, broken pet toys, etc. Broken/missing furniture and equipment in the game room and media room was a disappointment. Overall the property could just use some updating and improvement to match the price and its online presence.

Great weekend with friends

My husband, friends, and I loved this property and had a blast here. The place was much bigger than we needed. The arcade was a ton of fun for this group of 40-somethings children-at-heart. Have already shared this place with other friends and would certainly recommend to others for a memorable vacation.

Fun Family Getaway

Great home with literally all the essentials you should need! Very spacious house that can accommodate the whole families needs - game room, kids play room, theater room, and a couple of sitting rooms. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there or we would have chilled out in the backyard which was spacious and had a nice fire pitt area. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

We went to Door County with our adult kids and spouses. We enjoyed the game room and the big dining room table which we played multiple games at. There's plenty of space to stretch out in the house. The kitchen is well supplied.

XMas Family Getaway

We decided to take our family to Door County for the holidays on a mini vacation and couldn't be more happy with our stay!Great location and the home is amazing and makes you feel like you're in the comfort of your own home, with a movie theatre setup and an arcade area for entertainment.I would highly recommend this house for any getaway and the design of house is so cool!

The Oasis

The house is spacious with a lot of different living areas and a big dining room table. The kitchen was stocked with coffee. The decor was really cool. It is located in a really nice neighborhood just a short drive from the harbor. The game room was a lot of fun and their were tv everywhere
