Serendipity on the River is a beautiful and peaceful property, and our family enjoyed our stay. Check in was so easy and our host was easily accessible. The property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Every evening after exploring nearby towns, we relaxed by the river around the fire pit. We will definitely stay here again.
This house was wonderful. Almost every listing says âkitchen with everything you needâ and without fail Iâm always running to the store for something - this house has literally every kitchen utensil you may need. Tbe property is GORGEOUS with multiple outdoor hang out spots. Lots of hot water so everyone can shower in the evening. Host even has bathroom amenities if you forgot something of yours. Lots of warm throws for cozy evenings. Highly recommend this home for families or even an adult weekend with friends! Do plan on lots of driving- everything is within 20 miles but because mountain roads are winding travel anywhere takes 30-45 minutes - totally worth it though!
This was a very enjoyable cabin. Took my son and his friends as a graduation trip, and they had a great time.Plenty of room, and an easy location to get to. Was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews about the driveway, but there was no problem with the driveway at all. Honestly, flattest driveway Iâve stayed at in the mountains so far.We went to a few lakes in the area, but the fishing was the best in the river next to the cabin. Be aware of the private property signs if you find yourself wading and fishing. Also, everything is catch and release only, but the thrill of the reel is a plenty.Would certainly recommend.
Over all,the property was nice. We just didn't realize it was so remote. We wanted to do some fishing but a neighbor across the lake warned about snakes at the shore line. Hiking was planned but the weather didn't permit.
This was our second stay at Serendipity. This time it was 6 adults. Er enjoyed it just as much this time as we did 3 years ago. Carrie communicates effectively & the place is mountainside perfection. Canât wait for our third visit!
Great outdoor space, wonderful yard by the creek . So many flowers to enjoy ..Cozy cabin . If you want to get way from it all, this is the place . We enjoyed the north Georgia mountains , the town of Dahlonega is down the mountain where we went for food and enjoyed one day there. So many waterfalls in the area to enjoy!
We had a great stay! Loved the fireplace and fire pit outside. Kitchen was well equipped, which is important (not really any restaurants in area.)GREAT Toccoa River trout fishing in the backyard! Very close to public fishing access at Deep Hole campground and Cooperâs Creek.Driveway is a little steep for 2wd vehicles. Recommend you back down or use the back parking area to turn around in.
