great stay at candlewood

we used the shuttle service from and to the airport. both drivers were friendly and loaded and unloaded our luggage. dawn at the front desk was great. she arranged for our return shuttle trip and let us leave our belongings in the room until close to our flight time that was past check out time. the night shift front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. the maintenance guy was very friendly and always busy doing something. the grounds were well manicured and kept beautifully. the room was great. there were dishes, cookware, a stove and a full size refrigerator with icemaker. the bed was comfortable. i like the touch of the shower and bathroom caddies. the one in the shower had shampoo, conditioner and body wash that was dispensed in pump bottles. we used the barbeque area as our lounging/smoking area. there is a nice dog walk on one end of the building. they also have a room set up with goods to buy. it has a coffee, soft drinks, snacks including breakfast items and toiletries. in the future candlewood will be our go to spot to say when visiting family in the milwaukee area.

We had a wedding in Milwaukee, and stayed in this hotel, while in town. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable. No breakfast is offered, but it was convenient to Highway 41. Recommended.

Parking was ample. The area was quiet and safe. There was a laundromat on the first floor, saving us a trip to one in town. There are enough utensils, dishes, etc. provided to make a meal. The only drawback is the table provided is too small for two people to eat from (see photo). The hotel had no spares to provide. The folks at the front desk were helpful in answering our questions and providing advice about the area.
