Highly recommended!

Such a lovely place and such beautifully trained staff. Highly recommend this as a Milwaukee destination— and be sure to go get a drink at the Blu lounge on the 23rd floor for stunning views of the lake and the city.

My husband spoiled me for my birthday, and I’m so glad he chose the Pfister. The concierge brought up a bottle of complimentary champagne to kick off my birthday weekend! There is a fantastic bar in the hotel lobby with plenty of seating. Our room being on the second floor above the lobby was absolutely beautiful, for an older hotel the renovations were impressive. Plenty of room and very comfortable. The shower was fantastic. Room service was quick and the food was hot and delicious. Everyone there was friendly, polite, and welcoming. Definitely would recommend!

6PM check in and the room was not ready. They offered us champagne while we waited, which was really nice. They found a room and sent us to the 14th floor. When we got to the room, the door was open and it was still being cleaned. We went back to the lobby and were giving keys to a different room - when we entered that room we realized it was already somebody’s room. They had given us keys to a room already occupied. Thank goodness they were not in the room! It was very uncomfortable. Back to the lobby we go and then they give us the original room - now fully cleaned. So checkin was poor.

There is a reason the Pfister is on the list of the countries 10 best historic hotels. While the common areas have maintained the majestic grandeur, our suite was tastefully modern, with all that one would expect from a hotel of this stature. I would recommend the hotel spa and all the dining options on the premises we sampled were up to standard.
