My stay was great until my sleep was interrupted around 4:30am by the sound of the fire alarm. We were up and outside because there was a fire on one of the front porches. After the all clear the fire alarm went off at least two more times. Other than that my stay was good

Parking was ok but company trucks park across the spaces so about 14 spaces were not able to be used. I had to park on the other side of the hotel and walk around to the front late at night by myself, felt very unsafe. These trucks should be parked on the other side of hotel. It’s very unfair

We have stayed here 3 years in a row now. Very nice location, staff is very friendly and helpful, pet friendly and the veranda is beautiful and so relaxing after a day of traveling. It’s so great that the restaurant will serve our meals on the veranda so that our pets can be with us and the food was wonderful. Only downfall this year was a fire alarm at 6 am. But we did meet a lot of friendly guests because of it. All of us in our PJs.

Great property but this location has two dead mummies outside of their bathrooms on the first floor. They are statues hanging on the wall. I felt so uncomfortable walking in to use the bathroom. The statues look demonic and not appropriate for this hotel. I would never visit again if they don’t remove those things. It’s interesting what some would consider art. I spoke to the workers who agreed the statues are not appropriate and other people have complained. Yet they’re still on the walls so I assume this will go no where. Which is fine. I just wouldn’t come back.

Left early, not for us

Ugh! I never leave a review but here I am. We really wanted the experience to be great but it really wasn’t. We paid the extra 20 to get a window “view” it really wasn’t the window view. Couldn’t see much out of our window just spider webs. We didn’t get much sleep, the walls must be very thin because we had someone next to us who left the tv on all night we kept waking up in the middle of the night. So no sleep So we couldn’t enjoy our stay and breakfast was average as well. Nothing origanized… each table for breakfast has a price but we paid in advance online…. I would have been nice that they would have a list of guest already paid than finding out ( surprised ) you pay extra for a meal that wasn’t worth it. At check out we never got even asked how it went or how was our experience was. We hated the whole experience we left super early. The appeal is there but not enough for us I would not recommend this place

This hotel was great. After a long drive from SC this hotel was very quiet and relaxing. Having a great restaurant right at the hotel. My husband and I got to relax with drinks by the fire on their beautiful deck
