We had a great stay. The location was very close to the Jennie Finch World Series. The host was easy to get in contact with and responded quickly. The bed was comfortable and the suite was very clean. Overall, no complaints!
My daughter and I traveled to the area to see my husband who works in Texas. I went with this choice because of the location and because the host was a premier host and in my experience that means a hassle free stay. While the apartment was everything promised, the trip started out with some stress. The host did not send me the check in instructions before the trip. He didn't answer my message about it a couple days before we left on an almost 12 hour drive and it was about 30 minutes of texting, calling, and talking to vrbo customer service (which was COMPLETELY pointless), before he finally answered a call from my husband for the check in code. After that it was smooth sailing. The area was quiet but close to the interstate and easy to travel. The apartment was very nice and clean and we were quite comfortable.
We found this to be such a lovely and relaxing place to stay! The property has obviously been newly renovated and was comfrotable and well stocked with everything we needed. Every need had been provided for, from laundry supplies to salt and pepper! The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything. We enjoyed trips to the beach and visits to various shops and restaurants in Sulphur and Lake Charles. Hollier's Cajun Kitchen is about 5 minutes away and delicious! Stop by Flock of Five for some treasures from local artists while you're in Sulphur! We had a lovely stay and would gladly revisit someday!
