After night 1 of roasting, as we were unable to turn down the heat. We heard from other rooms as well that they had the same problem. In the morning, we reported that our room was unbearably hot and asked for the heat to be fixed. We were told someone would come in an hour—they never showed up. Niggt 2. Between 2–4 AM, a group of people were being extremely loud in the hallway—shouting, drinking, and making it impossible to sleep. We called the front desk *six times* (even though it's supposed to be staffed 24/7), and no one answered. Eventually, we had to go out and confront the group ourselves, which felt really unsafe and uncomfortable. When we mentioned all of this again at checkout, the staff had nothing to say. Just said she would twll the manager, no offer to make it right. Definitely would not stay here again.

The location was great. The breakfast was disappointing, not many options and tasteless. Floors in room needed cleaning. Only one chair. Had to plug all the lamps in and then remove as the light switches didn’t work. No toilet paper or tissues in the room upon check in. Children played hockey in the hallway directly in front of our door hitting it until 9:30 pm, when I asked them to stop, while their mother stood and watched. Definitely will not return.

Staff are really polite and friendly, breakfast, pool and sauna were amazing features. Room is spacious and comfortable. Its just some amenities like tv, wifi and linens weren't in that condition. Overall, it was a good experience.

My stay at the Loyalist Inn was incredible I'm on vacation and stayed there my first night. My room was spacious and comfortable lovely veiw off the water. Staff were very helpful and friendly.Breakfast was amazing and good. Went for a morning swim then did a workout. I will definitely be back in the near future. Thanks so much to all staff who made my stay wonderful.

No clear entry point for the front desk from the parking lot. When I did enter the building, it was like a maze trying to find where the front desk was so that I could check in. Approaching the front desk, I could hear the staff member speaking poorly about a customer she had on hold to an office member adjacent to the reception. Website said there was a restaurant/bar. It's only open F/S/S. Very misleading. The hotel was nearly empty, but the room they chose to put me in was 5 feet from the elevator so I listened to that bell consistently. The heating unit was so loud that I had to turn the heat down so that I could getting longer intervals without it kicking in. The rooms and furniture looked to be from the 80's. I was booked for two nights but left after one. I will never stay at this hotel again!!

My stay at the hotel was way different than in the past. I was really disappointed to learn that housekeeping does not come in and make the beds or tidy unless you are there for 3 days or more. However, my friends that stayed in different rooms, came back to a freshly cleaned room on saturday. Out of 4 rooms, 2 got cleaned. I also had to go to the front desk and ask for toilet paper. It is unacceptable that this had to be done for a 3 day stay, especially with the rising costs of a nightly stay.

On arrival my expectations were immediately underwhelmed based on the lack of signage and poor state of the parking areas. It was not clear where the entrance was and I stumbled into the tenants lobby with mailboxes. This property is partially condos / apartments and as we approached the main lobby walkway (which was hard to find) and large dog barked at us from the top floor of the hotel. Pros: Free buffet breakfast Clean rooms and premises Friendly helpful and attentive staff and service Easy parking Cons: Breakfast buffet was meh. Again a clean area but just kinda uninspired The entire property is aging rather ungracefully and needs touch ups everywhere. The room was 26.5 deg C when we arrived and after speaking with the front desk the only option was to open windows as there is no AC, thankfully it was cold outside so the windows open helped a lot although I had to prop one open with a coat hanger and another had no screen at all. The pool area was clean but run down- did not resemble the pictures. The sauna was also not working from what we could tell. Overall ok but we would choose to book elsewhere if we were to revisit summerside.
