An option on Expedia was given to us to pay when arrived on site. It appears that that somehow caused Holiday Inn to not have a confirmation of stay upon arrival. So, after 8.5 hours of straight highway driving, they had to kindly ask us to drive again across the street to stay at Candlewood Suites, their reported sister hotel, and not stay at the Holiday Inn for the night. There, we were assigned a room with visible mold in the ceiling of the shower. Staff was very accommodating in seeking a new room. The new room was a little better, but the experience was overall not wishful. We frankly do not wish to repeat it with Holiday Inn.

The first room had worn, black stains in the tub, two refrigerators in the room, one was an old apartment refrigerator, and the bathroom walls were peeling and bubbling. Disgusting. They gave us another room. Won't stay here again.
