Sunburst Locust Cabin is a spacious and inviting retreat. With newly added Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, and air conditioning, it offers the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern convenience—ideal for families and larger groups.

Inside, the cabin features a large open great room combining the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Knotty pine walls and a beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace create a warm, classic cabin atmosphere, while an auxiliary gas furnace provides comfort year-round. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, and single-serve Keurig, along with all cookware, dishes, and utensils needed for your stay. The living area offers comfortable seating and entertainment options for relaxing together.

Sunburst Locust sleeps up to 8 guests across three bedrooms. Two bedrooms on the main floor each feature one queen bed, while the loft bedroom includes one queen bed and two twin beds. Bed linens are provided, and there is a full bathroom with a shower on the main floor. Guests should bring their own bath towels and paper products.

Outside, the cabin offers a large wrap-around deck—partially covered and partially open—providing plenty of space to relax and take in the surrounding forest. Guests often enjoy watching wildlife from the deck, including deer and, on occasion, even black bears. The private picnic area includes a fire pit, lawn furniture, picnic tables, and a charcoal grill for outdoor meals and evening campfires.

Sunburst Locust Annex (Optional)

For larger groups, an additional cabin (the Annex) is available exclusively with Sunburst Locust. The main cabin accommodates up to 8 guests, and the Annex allows you to expand your group to up to 15 total guests.

The Annex is a separate, single-room cabin with a bathroom and sleeping space for up to 7 guests. It also includes basic kitchen amenities such as an apartment-sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a small dining area. An outdoor porch with a picnic table provides additional space to gather.

The Annex is available for a flat rate of $150 per stay, plus tax.

Sunburst Locust Cabin offers its guests barbecue grills. The front desk is open around the clock.

This cabin is smoke free.
