Good hotel. Stayed for football. a couple of miles to the ground. Arrived at 12:20. Couldn't check in. No rooms until just after 14:00. Given check out is 11:00 I found this rather irritating. I stay at a lot of other hotels and usually they can find a room. Apart from that, a good stay. I used the bar and had lunch there which was good value for money. I didn't have breakfast there. The room, 5th floor (BTW... the list was out of order so travel light!) was very comfortable.

Club room was great. Comfortable bed, good view of the port, great shower and great smart TV. Coffee machine was a nice touch and the Gym and pool package was good. Not so good was the lift not working although the staff were taking people up in the staff lift if needed. I was on the 5th floor though! The restaurant was slow, and screaming kids that the parents couldn't control! Food was good but 35 minute wait! Changing rooms were being refurbished so I was warned against using them as not secure.

Room cleaning.

Very disappointed with in house attendance. Room was not visited daily to make up bed, or wash crockery, or change towels. Informed when booking in, if we required anything done in the room, to hang label outside door. We did this and the towels were replaced, crockery was not washed, and the lights left on, when reason given for not changing towels etc was energy saving, they left lights on. The bed was left untidy also.
