had a great time, everything in the house was thoughtful. provided enough amenities. the only thing was the driveway was not salted prior to so it was very slippery coming down the driveway. it was great providing a shovel but not enough salt.

Beautiful home/location but a few disappointments

So we booked through VRBO because we love this platform. However, it became clear after we booked that this rental is really managed by Riley Vacations and there were a lot of things we had to do via email and through their platform, which was frustrating and not as streamlined as using VRBO. It was annoying to pay a $340 service fee to use Vrbo and then get sent off to another platform. Also, the title of the listing said there was a hot tub, and if you read really carefully every word of the listing you would find out that the hot tub was broken. This was misleading though when the actual listing still has “hot tub” in the title, and I was actually using hot tub is one of the filters when I searched and found this property. So that was also disappointing. Finally, there was a big carpenter ant problem, which was annoying since we were killing them all the time. The home itself was clean and beautiful and just a perfect location other than that. The view of the lake was exquisite, and the home had so many great spaces for hanging out. The kitchen was well equipped. It also was within a five or 10 minute distance of some cute restaurants and an ice cream store. Great spot and great home in those ways!

Spacious property with an amazing location

This property has a bathroom adjacent to nearly every bedroom in the house and a great open floor plan and back deck on the first floor. The lake views are breathtaking and the dock space allows for two boats to be parked on the property. My only complaint would be the musty smell on the bottom floor. It was particularly strong in the room with bunk beds. Still, I would absolutely stay here again. It is close to good bars and restaurants and the water views are gorgeous.

The location size of this was ideal for our group. With COVID concerns our group of 8 wanted to be able to be together, but also have our own space and be able to spread out. We spent a good bit of time fishing off the dock and using our stand up paddle board as well as the hot tub. The pool table got a lot of action in the evenings. The only negatives were that it was not super clean and some of the drains were very slow. Over all a great vacation.

Great house and great service

Nice house with great view facing the lake from every room. Keyless entry, no office visit for check in. We have a group of 16 from 5 families, everybody enjoyed the trip and liked the house. Service was great too, we needed late check-out, we were offered complimentary late check-out when it was available.

FABULOUS Family Getaway

Our extended family got together for a long weekend to celebrate my mother's 73rd birthday, and the house was PERFECT for our group! Mom is on oxygen, so the first floor master with handicap accessible bathroom was just what we were looking for. This room allowed mom to participate in everything (from living area to deck) without having to navigate steps or be too far from her oxygen source. There was plenty of room for everyone, and we loved the views and the private dock. We spent a lot of time fishing and enjoying the lake. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Fabulous house

This house is fabulously situated right on the water. We spent most of the weekend on the dock, at the firepit or in the hot tub! The kitchen has everything you would need, the dinning room table is big enough to seat everyone, we loved the two great rooms - one for the kids (downstairs) and one for the adults so that we didn't bother each other. The only nuisance is the house is not truly a "Vacation Rental By Owner" and so you end up paying the VBRO fees, plus the rental agency fees.
